I’m getting to that point where I want to start knowing what all these abbreviations stand for and what TCC actually is about. Darling Husband and I are planning to start trying in the near future and I want to see what I’m getting myself into. Is there a book I can read on this stuff?

@Jamergurl921: By chance, did you mean TTC, not TCC? Or is it a new abbreviation that I don’t know about? =) The best book out there is Taking Charge Of Your Fertility… Another one Hamikay recommends is Impatient Woman’s Guide To Getting Pregnant. I personally just read the tutorials on a website fertilityfriend.com =)
ETA: But plan to read TCOYF and Impatient Guide someday…for sure! =)

If you don’t anticipate any issues, you could always just skip straight to “What to Expect when you’re expecting”. There’s a chapter in there that covers the basics of TTC, and is probably all a lot of people ever really end up needing to know.

@ChuckNorris: Ha ha ha. Clearly I’m already confused! TTC, TCC sounds the same to me! I’m really trying here!
@newname_99: Thanks! I will check that thread out!

@Jamergurl921: Hehe, that’s all good, I genuinely thought it was something else…Like, try conception conceive…or…I dunno, lol.

I second IMPATIENT WOMAN’S GUIDE TO GETTING PREGNANT. I am currently reading it and am only on chapter 3 and have already learned so much. It’s a nice short easy read too with not a lot of big medical terminology.

@SapphireSun: Thats a good idea, and then it covers the pregnancy too. i might look into that…
