I tried on the one from David’s Bridal and I LOVED IT! Seriously– I wasn’t even really looking for a tea length and I don’t particularly like flowery things. But for some reason, those flowers and the way the waist fit was so wonderful. I definitely recommend that one. I also like the length better than the others.

Please ignore the stupid look on my face and the fact that the dress is an uneven length– the bridal consultant was trying to show me the length it “should” be on me (since I’m short). And ignore the fact that the stomach area looks weird– she tried to tuck the dress in there to shorten the sample on me.

I Love the first one… I think it’s very classy!

If you’re going for a vintage look but still fun, I would choose the 2nd dress with the halter.  Plus this dress looks like it can be more punk rock style depending on how nontraditional you wanted to look for your wedding day.

From what I’ve seen of you on the boards, the 50s halter dress seems to suit your personality best of the three you posted.

I can also see you in the Michelle Roth “Maya” or any of the http://stephaniejamescouture.com/ or http://www.dollycouture.com/ dresses.

I voted for the Justin Alexander. If that dress fit with our wedding, it would be the one that I would be wearing, so I am partial to it. Have you tried any of these on? If so, do you have pictures? That would really be helpful.

@Miss Tattoo: I do love the JA dress and your tattoos could be a really cool tough contrast against its super-femininity. But like I said, that halter dress really seems YOU from what I’ve read on the boards. And it has STARS on it! How cool is that?!?

@Miss Tattoo: Then if I were you, I would definitely get both!! 🙂 That would be so much fun. Or wear the JA for your wedding and the other one for your rehearsal dinner. GET THEM BOTH!!! LOL.

@Miss Tattoo: “Thanks again for the link!”

You’re welcome!! I have a million links to short/tea length dresses saved. I love them. (I wore that polka dot one I posted above.)

Anyway, I think you can’t go wrong with any of the dresses you posted. If you’re interested in custom, I think dollycouture can do a bit of that. And also http://www.whirlingturban.com/vintage_wedding_dresses.html/.

How bad ass are these dresses?!?!?

@Miss_Tattoo- I’ve always loved that JA and wish I could have tried it on (but I think it wouldn’t have worked on me since I’m only 5’00” tall). I also wish that I could see a girl other than the model wearing it. I hope you can try it on and post pics!!! I agree with a PP about it looking awesome having the feminine dress contrasting with your tattoos. I’d like to see that look.

The second one screams “eh, I’m going on a picnic” to me instead of “hey, I’m the bride!”…I do think it would look nice on you, but just not quite right for your wedding.

I don’t care for the third one.

I actually really like the one you posted later in post #12! Very snazzy.

I’m still voting for the JA, though. Not because I personally like it, but because I think you would rock it and it would look perfect with your venue!!
