Wow! We're getting married on the same day- but all my girls purchased their dresses back in November. So early mainly because they are Jenny Yoo and are custom made to each girl. Maybe you should try and phrase asking her differently. Maybe ask her if she's gotten a chance to schedule an appt to get measured and if not, when she can get in to do so.
That would make me a little nervous because although I know that Davids Bridal has Rush Alterations that you can pay like $25 extra to get done- I know it's something that is so minor but it's going to stress you out if not resolved getting this close to your day! And that's the last thing you want to have to worry about.
I think that the color you picked is very pretty for summer time- so I'm sure that's not it. However, remember that it is your day- and them standing up there next to you is what's important, not wheather or not they absolutely love the dress, remember- you can't always please everyone.
Don't stress out though- and GOOD LUCK ON YOUR DAY! EVERYTHING WILL BE PERFECT! :)
The tealness color from Alfred Angelo is a much darker teal than the Oasis color...Oasis is very light,almost aqua, and the tealness is a very rich color...I don't think they would have the same look at all
My BM's have dresses from Alfred Angelo in chocolate brown and "Tealness". I highly recommend using the "Juniper" color from DB if you are trying to match tealness. I had the girls get their shoes dyed this color and it is very very close. A little off but not by much!
Also, FYI, I went to order my dress for my FSIL's wedding 10/10/09. I went just about a week ago and they said it would be here mid-June so just about a month. Alfred Angelo takes about 2 months or so for the dresses to come in.

My date is only 81 days away (08/08/09) and I have one bridesmaid who has yet to buy her dress. With less than 12 wks to go, that's stressing me out.
I'm not sure if it's the style or the color that's stopping her. I'm looking at "Oasis" from David's Bridal. Has anyone checked in the differences between this color and either of the teals from Alfred Angelo (Turq or Tealness)? I am trying to make my way to a store, but the closest one is about an hour away.
