Many of the fall bees are beginning to find out what they are expecting. Even with my own family, (there are 6 babies due this fall in my family & circle of friends). One of the moms-to-be had a hard time accepting that she was team blue in the beginning. Now she couldn’t be happier!
How did you feel when you first found out? If you decided on team green, what made you decide for sure you wanted team green?

I cried! Tears of joy! Especially when I saw all 4 chambers of her heart beating away. I am so happy to have a little girl and do all the little girl things with her….

We’re on team pink. We were both ecstatic when we found out. We both really wanted a girl and I had felt like it was a girl for a while. My SIL and BIL wanted a girl but got a boy. They both still seemed really happy when they found out.

Team blue here! I was super happy when we found out we were having a boy. I’m really excited to be giving my parents their first grandson. But this is going to make me really hope that the next one is a girl.

We’re Team Green. I talked my husband into it when we first found out (with the help of our midwife), because I had a romantic vision in my head of Darling Husband getting to be the one to tell me that we had a son or daughter at the birth, and not getting inundated with pink or blue things at the baby shower.
Darling Husband wasn’t fully sold on it at first, but as our anatomy scan got close, he got gung-ho excited about not knowing, whereas I wavered about it, a lot. I might have given in and found out, except Darling Husband was so excited to be the one to tell me, and even then I had to bite my tongue to not ask during the scan.

We’re team blue and I was SO happy at the moment when we found out. I had a gut feeling at the beginning that it was a boy but after our NT scan tech guessed girl I was convinced that was what baby was (and I was really excited about that too!!!) but Darling Husband always wanted a boy first. It was SUCH a surprise since we fully expected baby to be a girl, and definitely a good one 🙂 My husband is absolutely thrilled.

I’m team blue and I was disappointed when I found out. I’ve always wanted/felt I was going to have a girl first and it took some adjusting at first. But now I couldn’t be more excited to meet him when he comes in August! 🙂

Well let’s see I found out at delivery of my first that is was a boy and my husband got to announce it. VERY COOL. Then he followed it up with…. “Well – you always get what you want – even in childbirth” 😉 I did want a boy. AND I did want him to have a cool birthday (8-9-10) – which just happened to work out.
We are team green again and about 9 weeks from finding out. I really can’t imagine doing it any other way – and I can’t wait to hear my hubby’s announcement again!

Since we found out, I think the biggest thing was picking the name and calling her by it. That just made it so real (not that it wasn’t real before).

We’re team pink, and we were both ecstatic. My husband and I both really wanted a girl. I’m excited to give my grandma Joyce her first great grandaughter – she has 3 great grandsons. We’d always planned to give our little girl the middle name Joyce and now that we know we’re expecting a girl, we got to share the name with my Grandma, who is over the moon.
