Whose idea was it to be Team Green? We both wanted to be Team Green as soon as we found out we were pregnant. It just made sense for both Moose and Wombat.
What are the reactions from people? Everyone pretty much loves it except his step mom. She just wants to buy cute clothes.
What is the nursery decorated like? Monkeys and Tour de France with some Disney
Do y'all have names yet, or still thinking? We had our names before the first trimester was over with Moose. Since Moose will always be Moose, we're using the names for Wombat. Now, I just really want to know which name we're using.
Will the doctor your SO/FI/DH make the announcement in the delivery room? DH will make the announcement as he's allowed to help catch. He's so excited to be able to see Wombat first.

We are going to start TTC at the end of the summer and I want to be team green. DH, however, does not. We have always found out so we are considering him finding out and not telling or both of us knowing and not telling anyone. We would pick a gender neutral name, thinking Charlie or Charlye, and suprise everyone.

Whose idea was it to be Team Green? both of us wanted to be team green but im the one who has been on the fence about it a few times.
What are the reactions from people? they think we are dumb for not finding out bc well if you can why dont you. and i always get its so much easier if you find out. or you bond more with the baby bc you can call it by name and such.
What is the nursery decorated like? a soft cream coloured yellow on the walls with a greyish purple trim. everything is farm animals it really cute!
Do y'all have names yet, or still thinking? we had our names almost right away. if its a boy it will be Aaron James and if its a girl its Marijke annette.
Will the doctor your SO/FI/DH make the announcement in the delivery room?
not completely sure. probably the doctor since my SO will want to know at the same time as i do and not before.

Whose idea was it to be Team Green? It was initially my idea, DH was surprised because I'm a huge planner and I like things to go my way but I loved the idea of hearing at the birth and the added surprise...plus I'm not a big girly girl so I probably would have gone with green/yellow/grey anyways.
What are the reactions from people? A lot of people thought we were crazy because how do you "plan" for the baby then and buy things. And some people were kinda upset because they didn't know what to buy for the baby. My in laws I think were initially kinda against it but after she was born my FIL told me he was so glad we did it.
What is the nursery decorated like? We unfortunately don't have a nursery right now (don't even get me started) because we are trying to move half way across the country. but when I do eventually get to set up her room, my plan is to go with probably yellow/grey and do an elephant theme. I wouldn't have done a really girly room anyways.
Do y'all have names yet, or still thinking? We had a few of each picked out because I really didn't feel comfortable naming someone that I had never met...I mean what if the name we liked didn't fit? We had to have back ups.
Will the doctor your SO/FI/DH make the announcement in the delivery room? Funny story, everyone forgot about this part at Kayla's birth. After about 30 seconds, I heard the nurse go "Did anyone see the sex?" I like completely forgot! But then the nurse and my sister cried "It's a girl!" I'll never forget it!! :)

Whose idea was it to be Team Green? Mine, and DH went along with it, although I know he is dying to know the sex. We've had 8 U/S to date and have managed not to find out (I thought I would have caved by now but luckily Baby M is in there snug so I am not sure if I could have ever found out.
What are the reactions from people? Most of our friends and family are excited abotu the surporse - but still in disbelief that we decided not to find out. Nowadays most people do find out so I was really surprised in our childbirth class last week that 4 of the 5 couples are on Team Green.
What is the nursery decorated like? Painted 2 shades of green and the bedding is Lamb and Ivy's Enchanted Forest. Staying neutral means no painting required for baby #2 's room :) (I think DH liked that concept!!)
Do y'all have names yet, or still thinking? Names are decided, it took us a while and then as soon as we said it was offical... I ran and ordered the Take Me Home outfits I wanted...embroidered so there is no going back! Baby Girl will be Piper Avery and if it's a boy, his name will be Harrison Conroy (the MN is a family name)
Who will make the announcement in the delivery room? Great Question, I actually hadn't given this any thought

Whose idea was it to be Team Green? The baby's. We both honestly wanted to know, but apparently I have a very modest baby. :)
What are the reactions from people? Mostly they just say, "Oh," like we are lying to them about not knowing the sex.
What is the nursery decorated like? It's blue, because blue is my favorite color. We also used honey oak stained wood, and then there are cows and stuffed bears everywhere!
Do y'all have names yet, or still thinking? For some reason, my admission paperwork needed me to fill out the birth certificate stuff already (at 30 weeks!!) so yep, we have officially picked our names.
Will the doctor or your SO/FI/DH make the announcement in the delivery room? We haven't thought about it. Probably the doctor, because fresh newborns gross out my husband. :)

@dchokiebride3: Did your doctors know what your daughter was? Mine said if we dont know, they don't know.lol (a tech does the ultrasounds.)
@LindsayJeff: Wow, that's a lot of Team Green members! I'm the only person I've known to be Team Green..and I have a ton of friends with kids already.lol Not at all popular around here.

@MsMamaBear: The doctor's didn't know. We had our 2 US at a different place but they keep in close touch with the midwives/OBs practice, however, I forgot to mention Kayla was a lady the whole time in my belly, always with her legs crossed. The funny thing is she still always has her ankles crossed now...it's one of my favorite little things about her!!

Whose idea was it to be Team Green? My SO's. I like it now because it's fun to think who this little person is inside of me who likes ice cream and LOVES to hear her/his daddy's voice, but hates his snoring.LOL
What are the reactions from people? Most go crazy b/c they can't "plan". I've planned everything AND my SO likes it, which is a BIG thing because he has to have a say in everything.LOL (Wish I had ne of those men who delegates everything to their woman.LOL)More strangers go crazy with it than family though.
What is the nursery decorated like? yellow,light green, white and hints of gray with the Carter's Bumble set from Babies-R-Us. I'm thinking about painting the walls gray though, because I wanted aroom in the house gray and the living roo mand kitchen already have a color scheme. Then when baby ges older, I can change up the accents. Not sure though, SO might not like that.lol
Do y'all have names yet, or still thinking? We have tentative names. We had agreed if it's a boy, he names him, if it's a girl, I name her. So far William and Madison Rose.
Will the doctor your SO/FI/DH make the announcement in the delivery room? He will, I think it'll be special. My doctors don't know what baby is either, so I'll have to make sure I put that part in my birth plan.
