Are you planning on having everything packed and torn down after the reception? Or are you cleaning up all the trash and so on, then tearing down tables and other bigger objects the next morning?
I am really lost on this. I know that my venue has it where we have to be out by midnight. But what about my vendors? Will they stay and tear down everything?
Are you staying and helping or is your family/friends doing this or your event planner?
We are having a late wedding/reception with everything ending around 11:30.

I think it depends on your venue, along with how much is DIY, and how much is through vendors. I HAVE to be out that same night, because the room will be converted and used as one of their dining locations the next morning.
It is up to my florist to come back in and get the centerpieces, etc. And my venue will be the one cleaning up (clearing tables, the trash, etc). As for tearing down tables, my venue will just need to move the tables apart and reset them for their own needs, but they will handle all of that.
Does your venue require you to clean up yourself? If so, I would recommend doing that. If you have an event planner, you can definitely enlist them. If not, you could probably pick a few friends to help you out. Just be careful- no one wants their fun spoiled at the end of the night by having to clean up after all of the other guests.

It is entirely related to where you are hosting your wedding/reception.
Yes your vendors will and should set up and tear down everything. The linens are usually picked up the next morning- if not, they should haul them away themself for the linens to be laundered.
There should be some sort of pre-determined collaboration or relationhip between your vendor(s) and the venue.
Yes you have to be out by midnight- but depending on your agreement with the venue/site they will as a courtesy allow you to have certain items picked up the next day. Some vendors will charge you extra for Midnight pick up, some venues will charge you for having A.M. pick up too.
My venue- so long as you use vendors from their *preferred vendor list* will NOT charge you extra for AM pick up. But that is because most of my vendors and the venue site have a pre-determined relationship where they know what to expect from one another. There is a flow to how they get things done already.
so check with the vendors for pick up costs for early AM or late PM… and ask your venue what the costs are- and ask the venue when you will start to be penalized.
