** Please note – all of my recap photos in the next couple days will be guest photos. I won’t have pro photos for a few more weeks. If a photo has a watermark, it’s because one of my husband’s coworkers is occasionally a pro and took photos during the ceremony. They were taken as a guest, not because he was paid so they are for our private use only. Just wanted to clear that up just in case…
A couple of photos were taken by our florist and baker. I will note credit. **
The reception was also a complete blur, but we had the most amazing time. I don’t remember ever dancing so much in my life!
I hope these photos don’t spoil the pro photos. They really don’t do the details justice.
Our awesome white lacquered table and mirrors as the reception was about to start:
Taken before people started sitting down. Check out the clear chiavari chairs. I’m sure our pro photog wasn’t thrilled with all the mirrors hehe. It’s hard to see here but we did silver linens with a platinum runner:
View from those windows:
Flash doesn’t do these justice. Our menu and belly band place card that I laser cut to match the look of our invites. The little details that I loved that most probably didn’t notice are the pearlescent chargers and votives. Special flatware that the company designed just for our caterer:
Our girls loved their bouquets:
My beautiful girls, and great buddy in between:
One of my BMs took a photo of our butter trios, hehe. I think it was a truffled butter, herbed, and argh, I forgot the third:
We just sat down for dinner. You can see our lounge chair pillows in the background between us:
Can’t wait for the pretty pros to really show off the gorgeous flowers and food!!!
We started with an amuse…crispy asparagus with an asparagus soup shooter:
Roast tomato tart:
More food of course but I don’t have good photos of the other courses. I will with the pros.
Passed sweets while we danced. Bourbon pecan milkshake shots with edible white chocolate straws (someone ate this straw it seems…). Gingersnap oreos with cheesecake filling. These were AMAZING. We also had apple tarte tatin bites but I can’t find a photo:
It was a big joke during the planning process that my husband absolutely loved this green and insisted on seeing it everywhere. I think it’s adorable that he cared so much. We decided to go with shocking green plates for the cake to really bring in his green:
I joined my girls in the photo booth later. Not a lot of room…
Hubby and I had a chance to sneak away for the photo booth:
Yay! Some random shots here:
AMAZING band. Most of our guests were on the dance floor at all times:
