Oooh I didn't even know there was a book! I don't think I could take it. This is a good movie and it's getting really sad.

I was reading the book on an airplane and crying my eyes out. So embarrassing.  I think I need to rent the movie soon.

Just watched it the other night and bawled my eyes out. I just told my MOH to make sure she watches it by herself b/c she's gonna be sobbing and talking to herself and the tv the whole time. Good movie thought!

I finished the book on a plane as well, it was not a pretty sight.  I use the book for an ethics book club with summer students & took this years group to the movie over the summer.  I was so disappointed (as I am with most movies I've read the book to previously).  For those who haven't read the book- you absolutely must.  For those who've just read the book- be prepared for many differences.

I watched it yesterday. I cried through the whole thing almost. . I am an oncology nurse and should have known  it was not a good idea.

I haven't cried so shamelessly in a decade! My friends and I saw it in the theatre and we were the last ones to leave because we didn't want anyone to see our red, puffy, make-up smeared faces. We could barely even look at each other!

Ok good =) I'm happy you all cried haha

I must read the book ... although I don't know if I can actually take it! I watched it while H was taking a nap and I was worried he'd wake up and ask me what I'm doing to myself ... (I always end up watching some show that upsets me and H gets all worried about me haha) ... =)

You should definitely read the book. I was pretty disappointed in the movie after having read the book. I cried like crazy reading the book and a bit while watching the movie.

I love that movie, but the book is so much better!!  It's acutally one of my favorite books!

BTW...I cried that ENTIRE movie, no joke!!  I knew I would and I brought a packet of tissues with me!

I loved the book but was kinda disappointed by the movie.  I found the movie kind of over the top, so I actually didn't cry at all.  Everyone else I was with cried a lot though!
