Angkor Wat in Cambodia. It was amazing and seriously awe-inducing to see what humanity achieved in the past, and how nature has reclaimed the majority of it–temples that were built sky-high brick by brick, all by hand, temples that have been split apart by giant trees. It was amazing and I’d go back in a heartbeat, if I had the money.

I also lived in Japan for two years, and I don’t think there’s anywhere quite like it in the world.

Santorini has been my favorite place so far, it’s so wildly romantic it’s hard to explain why, I highly recommend for a honeymoon destination. I’ve been to so many islands all over and santorini is by far my favorite. City wise Paris is my European favorite, and while I didn’t love Brussels overall la grand place is a must see in your life Esp at nighttime. We are thinking of honeymooning in Capri/ Sicily if any of you bees have been I would love to hear your thoughts!

I second Angkor Wat. Also the Tikal ruins in Guatemala. I remember sitting atop a pyramid, listening to the howling monkeys, looking out over the jungle – it was amazing. The Andes are also breathtaking.

Dubrovnik in Croatia. Beautiful beaches, wonderful food, and kind people. Also, cheap cheap cheap and close to a lot of really amazing other places. A little off the beaten path, but that’s what I love.

Lily_of_the_valley:  Livorno in Italy, it just kinda felt like home it was so pretty and we were only there for a few hours (we were on a cruise) but it felt really great just going around the shops and going for food and stuff you know just the kinda things you do at home.

ooh, hard to pick just one!  Iceland was pretty amazing.  Japan was a dream come true, specifically spending time at a Buddhist monestary in Koya-San.

Been to many places that I loved, but just one that I feel like I would want to go back to over and over again – Bermuda. Super pretty, great food and everyone was so friendly.

BWLE: Capri is beautiful, but my recommendation would be that you stay in Sorrento and make a shorter trip to Capri. It’s easier to get around if you’re on the main land and Sorrento is such a little gem of a place!

La Alhambra in Granada, Spain is the most gorgeous place. Go during the daytime, then hang out in Granada and look at it at night when it’s all lit up….ugh. beautiful. Actually there are a TON of places in Spain I would recommend. Go to Spain.

I have been blessed to get to travel many places! My parents are huge travelers and took me with them many times. Of all places Santorini, Greece has been my favorite. Beautiful sand against sapphire blue water with a city looking down on it. It’s unreal!

Lake atitlan in Guatemala (though also all of Guatemala). I’ve been twice and it a beautiful place in terms of location and in terms of wonderful people and a fabulous selection of things to do (hippy enclave for the win).

BWLE:  Paris was a bit of a dissappointment for me! I would do it over for sure & am so glad to have the experience. But! The people there were incredibly rude & seemed to hate Americans. I understand how frustrating it must be to live in the #1 tourist spot but still! Also I was amazed at the prices. 35$ for a hamburger.. $15 for a small beer. I died a little each time. However, I got to see so much art & history it was well worth it!

My FI is a bush pilot and flew us into a remote location in north western Ontario. We camped out, swam, and fished. Maybe it was the company, but doing that is my favourite thing to do. Just us and nature. 🙂

Again, I’m biased… but what a looker!
