I think i'm going to start planning weddings after my own wedding day. I have almost 5 years experience in just planning weddings (not only my own) and I have had a serious event planning/organizing bug in me since i turned about 6.. i always wanted to plan the class holiday parties.. and I alone was the prom committee for my junior prom.. i'm confident in my ability to handle it and I love to craft and be creative and think of things that people havent thought of before.. i'm just wondering if people would hire me?

are we Mid Mo brides who need a little help?

Until I get a little more experience, i would be doing it for pretty cheap depending on what was asked of me.. and i know that i would love to be just a bridal assistant because i know that my wedding planning process has been very lonely and I wouldnt want anyone else to have to do all of their DIY projects alone.....

i dont know.. just thinking out loud... after noticing that there are only a handful of wedding planners in Mid Mo and that i seriously love all things to do with planning an amazing event!

I so want to hire a Wedding assistant or planner for my big day, however I am yet to be engaged.  Now, would you be willing to help brides in the STL location?

I am not from the area, but I voted yes because it sounds like you love doing it, and it's fantastic to have a job that you are excited to wake up and go to!  I think you should give it a shot, you will probably know early on if it will work or not.  In the beginning, you can even start it as a side project while you have another job, and if it seems to be taking off, focus on that!  Good luck, I hope you are able to follow this dream!

WendyS328- I would Love to help brides in the STL but i'm not sure that i would be the best person for the job, maybe to help with your projects and go with you to vendor meetings if the Mr doesnt want to.. (and we know they dont want to) but i would really need to research and get more familiar with vendors from STL and the surrounding areas
