Our wedding is June 1st. We sent Save the Dates at the end of January, because it seemed like fun (and it was!).
We have slipped a bit on finding invitations, and while etiquette says 3-months out is the time to send invitations (so, March 1st for us), I’m wondering if given that everyone now knows when the wedding is, can we have some more time?

I’ve always heard 2 months – so for a June wedding, I would send out in the beginning of April

We sent them out about 1-2 months before the date. I had them due August 1 for an August 14 wedding. Don’t send them too early so they don’t forget about the RSVP since they have plenty of time.

I have always heard 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks if you didn’t send out save the dates.

@PolkaDotLaceBride: From my understanding 8 weeks is tradition. I am sending mine out a little sooner because i want to leave some brething room for declines and give me time to invite others in necessary 🙂
