Dressier flats? Or everyday flats?
Because honestly, shoes don't get more comfortable than my Sperry Top Siders:

For a little bit dresier. I love London Sole flats.
I love the flats from LL Bean!
These are some of my favorites! http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/65986?feat=506705-GN2
I have some nike mary janes that i love, but I don't think they make them any more because I can't find a photo to show you!
Also a pair of those sperry boat shoes that are great! And a pair of frye boots that are flat and EXTRA comfy.
I have multiple pairs of Geox flats. They're a little pricey, but they are SO comfy (just wore them on our European honeymoon and walked a TON - no sore feet!), supportive and they breathe very well. They also come in cute, office-appropriate styles, but look equally good with jeans.
This is the pair I bought most recently:

I have the Minnetonka thunderbird suede moccasins and I love them! I got them at Town Shoes in Toronto. They're soooo comfortable, and really cute.

I second the sperrys.
I've been through about a million pairs! I have plaid pairs, leather pairs, solid pairs... you name it I've got them in every color of the rainbow =)
@jamiemichelle: They are completely my "go to" shoes on the weekends and for my wakls to the office.
I really want to get a pair of their metailc ones like these:

I have the most amazing pair of green steve maddens. I love them so much and they are so comfortable.
Toms shoes! 100% I love them more than anything.
They have tons of different patterns and materials. They are suppppper comfy and to top it off, for every pair that you buy they donate a pair to children who don't have shoes all around the world. They are a really great company. A lot of their shoes are even Vegan. You should definitely give them a try.
I'm wearing mine today! I actually got them in the kid's department at Walmart (I know). But I love them because they're comfy but nice enought to wear to work. I like the bows.

Jessica Simpson Leve flats! I love them! I put insoles in them to to give them a bit more support/squish factor since my feet are pretty sensitive. I have three pairs of the black (I bought them on super sale, so I have two pairs in the closet on standby, LOL!) and a pair in white that I wore at our reception for dancing. They come in all different colours and patterns. Check out the Macy's sales online, that's where I got mine for super cheap plus free shipping! They fit true to size too.

My faves are Sam Edelman Caper, in black (the pewter are gorgeous, too, but I don't have them...and they don't seem quite as versatile with my wardrobe).

Tory Burch REVA Flats!!! So comfy and soooo cute. I have a pair of grey snakeskin and plan to get a black pair and maybe one more fun color.
I love the Privo line by Clarks. Feels like wearing sneakers but totally office appropriate flats (and low heels).
@MissDane:I just tried the Reva's on yesterday and I was inbetween sizes. Not sure how in love with them I was, but I sooo want to be. I've been eyeing them forever! You should get the new gray flannel ones, they were one of Oprah's favorite pics this year!
I didn't even know vegan shoes... interesting. Now that I think about it, I guess that makes sense =) lol
I thought about getting the Michael Kors ones with the MK on the front, but I heard they start to wear after two uses. ugh!
I really love these Tahari flats I bought awhile ago.

I bought them for a trip to Europe. They held up really well and were pretty comfy!
I own several pairs of Revas, but they take a few wears to be comfortable.
@newbiecici: I have these and they are super comfortable! I was annoyed that the kids sizes are never on sale though, so more expensive than the adults!
@MacFaniam24:I would suggest going with the smaller size because they will stretch, especially the plain leather ones. And they defintiely take a few wears to be comfy but once they are you don't want to take them off :)
Kensie Girl makes really comfortable, cute shoes. They actually bother with putting padding and a sole in the bottom of their flats instead of just a strip of rubber or leather :P.
I love all my minnetonkas. I have a red pair that are my 'fancy' ones. hehe.
@MissDane:A lot of people said go up a half size. Do you think if I did they'd still stretch out too much?
Ooh, I love this thread! I'm a tall girl and am always looking for great flats!
i love sanuk! and i've found them at marshalls and ross for pretty cheap! they are so light and comfy!

These Roxy's are pretty awesome as well.. the sanuks are great for summer because they have a flip flop bottom and the roxys are great for winter because some of them are faux fur lined

@peacegrl099: I love my Toms too! I'm pretty sure I'm going to wear a pair for the wedding. I want to be comfortable and I have to wear flats due to the length of my dress.
I am a big fan of the flats that are target. I have these ones and I love them. And I got them for 4 bucks!!!!
I got these Michael Kors flats at a huge discount a year or more ago. I love them because they are uber comfy, go with everything, and don't flash any toe cleavage. Woo!
Popping in to look for recommendations for flats...I have narrow feet with very high arches so most fall right off. :( Which sucks, because most flats are so cute!
EDIT: Dressier flats, I mean. The Converse-esque slip-ons are okay. :)
@MacFaniam24: I made the mistake of going up ½ a size. I usually wear a 7 or 7½ and got an 8 because I tried them on after walking around the mall for the whole day. I love them still but there is about ½" to 1" in the back that is wasted space and since they have elastic in the back it looks a little funny. The next pair I get I'm definitely getting a 7½.
I have two pairs of the Tory Burch flats and I agree with the poster who says they definitely need breaking in. They are quite comfortable once they are broken in, though.
My most comfortable fave flats of all time are by Repetto. They are a ballet flat made by a company that actually makes ballet shoes. Each shoe is so very comfortable and very well-constructed. They are so cute -- I wish I had a pair in every colour!
