Because of some situations at work I told them UBBER early- like 5 weeks in order to secure a move off a super stressful project (I was having anxiety attacks at work- no bueno) and to get my office changed to a location closer to home and doctors. The people I work with are extremely understanding and have been so accomodating- I am very lucky. With my ER visit and subsequent bed rest this week they have been awesome.  If situations were different though I wouldn’t have said anything until the 10-13 week mark- but I totally understand not wanting to go on a business trip and have the rumor mill start.

Mine knew early thanks to IVF. If I had’ve fallen pregnant naturally, 12 weeks would have been my goal.

I told my boss at 13w4d.  And I told HR the day before I told my boss.  It was a relatively easy conversation because I used to report to the HR Manager until May of this year.  So we are pretty close.  And I had a feeling she already knew anyway but was just waiting for me to tell her…which happened to be the case.

I wanted to wait to tell anyone at work until I entered the 2nd trimester.
