Hi there!
So, I'm taking on the challenge of DIY stationary for my wedding. I found a great pocketfold tutorial and have a general idea of what I'd like to do...the issue is two-fold:
1. Crafy I am not. I have absolutely no idea how to put together a great design. I have found a couple of websites (like downloadandprint.com) that offer both a design AND matching stationary (place card, invite, STD, menu, thank you cards, programs, etc.) but the designs don't mesh with my theme (city garden) or they are the wrong color. It's important to me that all stationary matches (I'm type-A!)
2. Templates. MS Word initimidates me to no end. I find the idea of needing to properly align the margins to fit different measurements to be very daunting. I literally have PTSD from hours of attempting to properly format research papers.
I'm going for something like this: http://www.zazzle.com/purple_swirls_floral_wedding_invitations-161939402427617281
Does anybody have any suggestions? I have tried Inkscape, etc. to no avail. Does anybody have any templates they would pass along to me? Or, any graphic design expertise they could share? Our STD's really need to start being worked on and I'm so stumped at this part.
Thanks, Bees!
