Our offer has been accepted and the sellers are wanting to add a temporary leaseback option of 3 days.
I’m just curious if you would charge them for it or not. We are wanting to close by the end of the month.

can you explain what that means for all us non house buying people!

Im assuming that means they get three extra days to live there when you technically own it?
I wouldn’t charge them for it. We lived in our house for almost 30 days before the sellers were able to close. They didn’t charge us anything, we just had to transfer the electricity to our names and get renters insurance.
If I were you I would be careful though that they don’t cause any damage after closing but before turning over the keys to you. You can put stuff like that in writing though.

Caszos has it! Yes your last paragraph is in our contract. Right after I posted this, the sellers responded and offered to pay something without our asking. I was saying No while Darling Husband was saying yes 😉 I’ve read it’s a nice gesture which is why I said No.
