So though my fiance and I found rings we really like that are a good price for what they are, the set is a bit out of our budget for now. We briefly had a discussion about getting temporary less expensive rings until we can afford to get the ones we want.
Have other people done this? I feel sort of weird doing it for some reason, though I’m really unsure the reason why. Maybe just hearing that other’s have done this will be enough to knock me out of the weird mode.
Thanks in advance everybody 🙂

We did! I know alot of wont due to wanting the same bands they got married in. But we got sterling silver 4mm matching bands that was 20 dollars for his & only 15 for mine because when we went back to get mine it was on sale. We was just getting them until we could get me white gold & my hubby tungsten. We actually just got our upgrade rings not long along! My silver band I lost 🙁 It was in a brown envelope because I got my new band & I had a bunch of those brown envelopes & throw them all away thinking my silver band was in one that was in the car. Well the one in the car was empty. 🙁 I really wish I could have kept it to have to put in our wedding album or something. But my husband still has his. We are going to put it up & keep it. I don’t feel weird about it at all, like I said I wish still had mine, to put up & keep. You can always put your temp rings on a necklace or something once you get the upgrade bands.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: My cousin keeps her parents bands on her necklace–they’re both passed away.
It’s really sentimental.
