Just looking for input from any Bees that play tennis! I’m usually a runner, but I have picked up playing tennis 4-5 times per week, close to 4 hours per session. I was wondering if you feel that playing has helped you shape up or given you a good workout?

Playing Tennis was the hardest thing I ever attempted doing!
Way more cardio than just running or other sports……..
I don’t play anymore. lol

I used to play varsity tennis 3-4 hours a day, way back in high school. I ate what I wanted, did what I wanted, and never worked out other than that. It was a great way to stay in shape. As long as you’re playing with someone who’s going to make you run around for the ball, you’re good to go!

Darling Husband and I have taken up playing tennis (I played in my first tournament this past weekend) and IMO, it a really good workout! Especially singles – way more running and moving than in doubles.
