I’m having one in 2 weeks!  I’m not doing any draping because it was insane $$$, like almost the cost of the whole tent.  Also, changing the shape of the tent can vastly change the amount it costs.  The rental company was really pushing to have a square tent, and I really did not want it, but they said it would be best.  Then I got a planner who said “she wants a flippin rectangular tent with 2 poles, do it” and the price went down by $400!  Same square footage, just a different shape.

Since draping and chandeliers were both out of our budget, we’re doing helium balloons with these little LED lights in the balloons.  It should be very cool, I’m way excited about that!

Uhh, yikes!  Ours is $1480 and it’s a 40’x80′ tent that was for 150 people but we only had 122 rsvp yes.

But, I’m also in W. NC so I think your $4200 is good for your area.  And for me, included in the price is them setting up the tent; make sure that’s included in yours too.
