I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience. I"m sure there is another Bridal Salon in your area that would be more than happy to help you find the dress of your dreams.
Best of Luck.
@MRSsmith4: Make sure you go to google's review page for that boutique and leave a review! (Go to google.com, type in rebecca's bridal boutique louisville, and then under the address and hours, click on write a review). This will let other people in your area know to stay away!
I'm really sorry you had such a bad experience. I promise there are good salons out there who will treat you like a queen!
That is awful! Don't let it ruin your wedding dress shopping though!
I'm sorry you had a bad experience there. That's actually where I got my dress from (have my first fitting in less than a month so we'll see how that goes...). But my experience there was fine. Did you tell them a price range? Maybe the gown you asked to try on was far out of your price range and they didn't want you to fall in love with it and not be able to afford it (I know this can be an issue with lots of brides and it's always heartbreaking for the bride). Sorry again about your experience and I second the writing a review!
I'm so sorry you had this experience!
Have you tried Bridal Suite of Louisville? That's where I got my veil and fascinator. They were wonderful and came highly recommended by my planner.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience at Rebecca's Bridal also. I had similar experiences with a few other bridal stores, such as Sophia's Bridal in Indianapolis. I did get my bridesmaid dresses at Rebecca's because I got a discount with the number of dresses I ordered, but deliberately chose not to get my dress there because they always seemed to act too busy to really work with me. In the end I got my bridal gown from Bridal Suite in Louisville and really appreciated the service every time I was there. Good luck with everything!
Sorry you had a bad experience at Rebecca's, but I went there three times to try on dresses and ended up ordering my dress from Rebecca's a few weeks ago. I had fantastic service every single time I was there. I had a friend who didn't like her experience because it was very busy while she was there, though. It was busy on the Saturday I went, but the woman made sure I had plenty of space and privacy and amazing service, and then I went during the week the other two times, so it wasn't very busy at all.
I know you posted this a while ago, so I hope you found a great dress at a great place! What did you end up going with?
I had *amazing* service at the Couture Closet and okay service at the Bridal Suite when I went to those also. The girls at the Bridal Suite did try, but the two that helped me seemed very inexperienced about the dresses (they kept having to go ask another lady to answer my questions) and didn't do a good job of putting me at ease and listening to what I wanted. And one pulled a sash from another dress that I loved and then when I asked about it five minutes later could not remember it or find it again. But to their credit, they were very enthusiastic and nice!

I went to Rebecca's Bridal Boutique in Louisville, Ky and they gave me the worst service ever! I felt as though I was not important. They treated me as if I could not afford to be in their establishment. I am not sure if it was the color of my skin or what. I even asked to try on a gown and they let me know that it was really expensive but there were 'more affordable' gowns on sale or maybe at other places. I did NOT ask for a 'more affordable' gown! I knew exactly what I wanted and that I COULD pay for it! There was another bride in there at the time and they were all scrambling to help her in and out of gowns and I practically had to BEG for help! Those women really made me feel uncomfortable and I will never go in there again.
