I can totally relate....and actually terrible twos doesn't refer to age of two but the first two years of life so your right on schedule. Lol. My son is now three and they go straight from terrible twos into trecherous threes so just wait and then welcome to my world!!
Oh goodness, you mean I have to look forward to the:
Lol, I'll stop now...... I miss the baby stage so much!
My little girl started early with the tantrums.. she was my first so I can honestly say I was very confused.. I didn't think she'd turn into a brat until she was 2 and a half at least!
She is now nearly three and it got a lot worse, but is now finally starting to improve. The more words she learns, the less screaming fits we have.. unless you tell her no; for the love of God do not tell my Brooklyn no! lol.. I'm praying that there will be an end to this madness when she is at a 90-95% communication skill level. They get really frustrated when they can't explain to you what they want or what their problem is.
Good luck!
Oh man. I have a 16 almost 17 month old and she just starting all this! temper tantrums, ignoring me, everything, It's sooo frustrating. It's hard to know what to do at this age since they're so young. Time out maybe? but will a 16 month old REALLY understand? Beleive me, I need advice on this too!
Ack! I can't relate because I don't have children yet, but boy oh boy can my parents relate!
I was a devil child from about 18 months - 4 years. I guess after that my parents said I calmed down and I wasn't AS difficult anymore... Sorry if that's not what you want to hear, but my parents told me I must have gotten all my screaming out of my system because I was a pretty good kid from 4 years old until I hit my teen years!
Good luck!

I have a very active 18mos. old, but she's the physical size of a 3yr. old. even though she was 5 weeks premature. A couple weeks ago she started the dreaded temper tantrums: going limp, falling onto the floor, banging her arms and legs around. And then she has the nerve to roll her eyes at me, lol, whenever I scold her. Seriously, you should see this look! *shaking my head*
Is this normal for her to start so early? My other 2 kids were still angels at this age. I wonder if this means she's going to give us hell for many years to come? Please tell me I'm not the only one going through this!
