Yay friday! So far my friday has been uneventful! I do have plans to have lunch with a friend, so thats fun. I'm really looking forward to a weekend of relaxing and crafting. My only plans are a wedding tomorrow night for two good friends who have been dating for over 5 years... good on them!
We're having a family trip to go see my sister, who lives about three hours away. Yay for two nights on a couch :P. It will be good to see her and my BIL, but I'm going to miss FI! I won't get to see him until Tuesday :P.
I love Fridays, especially when its PAY DAY!!! Anyways no exciting plans for the weekend, maybe I will go to the movies.
I'm just glad its friday.. I wanna go to michaels on my lunch break lol but I'm trying to wait til monday because then I can use my coupon!
I will be so glad for today (and this week to be over). Major exam in an hour (that I am not ready for) and a major project that ended keeping me up till 4am that I have yet to recover from have wiped me out (however I got a lot of praise for so that's good.)
This weekend will be interesting. His family and my parents will be in town at the same times for the first time. My mother hasn't visited me in 3 years and my dad in 2 years (I've only flown home over Christmas and summer). None of his family has met my dad and our football team has one of their most important games tomorrow and my band has a difficult drill to match (for goodness sake we do not need to a 2-song 20-set drill this close to finals!)
The only redemption is that there will be a bit of comic relief in half time that we're keeping mum but it should be hilarious for most people in the Big 12.
This weekend SO and I will be moving into our first apartment together. I am so excited.

we're going to see ray lamontagne tonight :) then tomorrow we're looking forward to a great day of college football! oh, and writing thank you notes for gifts we got at our first shower last weekend.
I'm soooo happy the week's over! My day started with a cup of coffee and the Bee, and um, I should probably get some work done.
Tomorrow I'm heading up to visit the chapel we're getting married in, the reception site, and the hotel with my mom, future MIL, aunt, and my aunt who is visiting from Greece. I'm excited bc I haven't visited the church in over a year and I've never set foot in the hotel.
@7mom: Pay day? I'm jealous.

Tonight - Christmas decorating!
Tomorrow - Christmas decorating and taking one of my dogs to his training class.
Sunday - I have a work event...meh.
But I'm still glad as anything that it's Friday!
SO happy it's Friday. Worked super late last night to working on training materials. Have to finish those up today (as well as a bunch of other testing). We have two big applications rolling out in the next few weeks.
Tonight is a surprise party for one of FI's coworkers.
Tomorrow dress shopping with 2 of my BMs (one is coming into town from Boston), looking at bridesmaids dresses at J. Crew, then a girls dinner out.
Sunday is a horse show, maybe some apartment hunting, and football.

I just won a clutch from southern weddings magazine blog, I'm going wedding dress shopping tomorrow with my BMs, mom, and FMIL, and Sunday I fly out to Orlando for my company's annual meeting.
@stephinPA: Wow! Christmas decorating already? I still have to figure out how I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner in my NYC apartment kitchen!
@KatNYC2011: Yes, I know it's early but I need a distraction from the post wedding blues!
of course, i start this thread, and then i get pulled away for 30 minutes LOL...
anyway... all of your wknd plans sound fun or relaxing :) both of which i hope to feel at some point during this wknd!
TANGENT question, for the newlyweds... has it been harder to see your friends since the wedding? it's been hard to make plans with friends... cuz we always come as a package option... ive had coffee/dinner/lunch dates 1 on 1 with friends... but am having a hard time getting a wknd activity together between the single folks, dating folks, and married folks.... we're a mixed up bunch between the three, so that doesn't help!
@missjyc: I am a kind of "invite everyone" type of person - single, dating, married, if you are my friend, it does not matter
Edit: I should add that Mr. HC is a surgical resident and thus not around very much, so I am often on my own for plans, which I guess makes it less complicated sometimes...
In other news, I too cannot wait for this day to be over, go home and cook a big friday night meal with my MIL and SIL for Shabbat (Jewish Sabbath) and then tomorrow night, I am throwing a surprise party for Mr. HC that I could not be more excited about!
missjyc - i have the opposite happening!! I'm recently married and its been hard to just have a girls night - everyone always has their man with them or wants them to be with them. Its always great spending time with my hubby but he doesn't do wine nights to gossip about the Real Housewives....lol.
YAY! Today is our 10 Year dating anniversary!!! So although we decided we won't do gifts anymore for dating anni we will acknowledge it. I'm leaving work early because we have a early dinner reservation at a restaurant we've been wanting to try for a while. Can't wait!
Tomorrow we're trying our hand at canning for the first time. Then the rest of the day will be Dexter Season 4 Marathon!!!
Sunday is our usually football sunday. :)
Not really, because we've been a package option for-EVER. And I guess it makes it easier because all of our friends are in committed relationships or married.
i will be logged in all day today too! passing the time away until 5 pm when my weekend starts
It's DATE NIGHT! :) Then we're visiting my in-laws and grandma tomorrow.
Day is going well....busy at work today which is good because then the day will go by fast! Im looking forward to treating myself to lunch because its Friday! Tonight just hanging out with some friends and tomorrow morning we are going to see a house that we love and hopefully sign a new lease!!
TGIF!!! It's a lazy night tonight, and was going to be the first no plans relaxing weekend for a while..... BUT now I have to come to work for a few hours tomorrow! =( BOOOOOO.
Big plans this weekend... our weekends now consists of doing our little home projects. Ahh, owning a house is fun.

It's my last day at this crappy job, so it will be a long, unproductive day to say the least!
FI and I don't have any plans for this weekend so far, it's one of those "anything goes" weekends were we might just find ourselves out on some random adventure.
Ooooh, I love that Friday feeling! I have two parties to go to tonight, and another one tomorrow which is a lot and mildly stressful thinking of all the calories I will be drinking, but whatevs hahaha.
why is it that m-f seems to drag by... and the hours on sat/sun seem to FLY by!?... today is a REALLLLY slow day at work... any good holiday recipes to try?

I am so looking forward to this weekend...my dress is finished and am picking up my wedding dress tomorrow EEEEEE!!!! I have not seen it since I had alterations sew on a beaded sash and put on a corset back.
FH's bday so we are doing dinner and presents. Nothing too spectacular this year. We went to Tyler Florences new place in SF last week for his bday celebration.
I want to do more, but not really sure what else. I got him not-so-fun clothes for his present.

Me? Finish the rest of the work day. I'm going to the bridal salon to make another payment on my dress, gym and then time with the FH.
This weekend I plan to do a closet purge and check out some thrift and antique stores for brooches, rings, etc. to make a brooch bouquet. I also have this sudden urge to go bowling, so might do that too!
Here in the UK it's Friday evening so i'm sat about to watch the weekday evening shows for Strictly Come Dancing and get myself a glass of wine and a beer for my FI. Then i'm making one of our favourites for dinner - carbonara with garlic bread. Tomorrow will be mainly cooking - getting the mash and fish ready to make fishcakes on Sunday and I think i'm going to make Chelsea buns too.

@missjyc: I hear you! The morning went quickly because I had a ton of stuff that HAD to be done by today.
Now that that stuff is done, the day is DRAGGING. I have meetings from 2-5 so hopefully that will speed the end of the day to me.
On a different note, I work up with a sore throat this morning.
I don't want to be sick over the weekend!! 
Yeah sorry, it's where your Dancing with the Stars comes from. They actually showed on Monday all the different countries it's in now. It started here about 10 years ago. I love it. Is Audrina from The Hills still in yours? I've recently got into The Hills and I record it every night. I'm a sucker for American TV. LOL about stepping away from your computer!
I hear ya...I'm on the west coast, so it's still morning here. :( I'm looking fwd to HH with girlfriends after work, bday dinner on Saturday for a friend, and football Sunday. However, my fiance is a sweetie and he downloaded alll of Say Yes to the Dress on netflix to his Wii so I can watch any season of Say Yes to the Dress that I want...yay!!! :) So I might just do that tonight after HH, can't wait!!!

@KatNYC2011: ive had a scratchy throat all day too... and it's hit me that i haven't gotten a cold in over a year.. i feel like it's "my turn..." :'( but i dont want to get sick cuz DH and i have a small up north trip planned for the wknd!
just waiting on our droid2's that are being shipped to the house today. i want to take off early so i can pick that up before class! <3newtoys! :P

it's funny, my friday NIGHT chats have been starting earlier and earlier as the weeks go by... LOL anyway today is a case of the "F-It"s... and i will be logged on all day to tear away at my boredom.
