I'm so glad it's Friday! Only 3 more hours of work until my weekend starts! Woo!

Tomorrow we're planning on getting up early and (finally) finish painting our kitchen cabinets.  I also want to try making shrimp and crawfish etouffe this weekend.

So what's everyone else up to this weekend?

    Yay weekend!

I'm probably meeting up with DH and some of his coworkers tonight.

Then tomorrow afternoon I'm heading out to a B&B in the countryside with some girls from the riding club. We're spending the night in the B&B and then doing a horseback riding clinic on Sunday.

I cannot wait. It'll be a lot of fun to get to know these girls and get some good hours of riding in.

It is really strange though, this will be the night DH and I have spent apart since getting married.

ETA: And I have a phone date with one of my BMs in the states on Sunday. I'm so excited to catch up with her.

We should probably also do some packing for our trip to Tanzania as well. Yay honeymoon next week!

Tonight, I plan to drink. Just being one of those days where I'm unmovtivated and slightly depressed.

Tomorrow we head to BIL&SIL's to see our new little niece. DH mentioned going to a local deep dish pizza place aftereward and I'm sooooooooooo tempted, but trying to stay on track with my eating (especially since tonight is my cheat night and I'm not going to be good, lol).

Sunday, probably working out and continuing working on finishing up baby cross-stiches for said niece and BFF's new baby.

    Some packing tonight likely.

Tomorrow I'm going to get a haircut because my baby shower is next weekend - woot! Then try to find a cardigan for my dress and finish up hostess gifts. Gotta find boots for my niece who's coming in with MIL on Tuesday.

Saturday evening and Sunday we will likely be workin at the new house.

@KatNYC2011:  That sounds like a lot of fun!  I would love to do something outdoors but they're calling for snow tomorrow. Cry I was really liking the 60+ degree weather we've been having this winter!

@hisgoosiegirl:  I have no willpower, I would just have two cheat days this week so I could have the pizza! Lol!

In about 6 hours I'm getting on a plain to Vegas!!  I'm so excited, it seems cruel and unusual to have to be at work right now!  Best friend is getting married in March so it's her bachelorette party.  VEGAS BABY!!

Working tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday.  :(  I always see these sort of threads on my weekends that I work.  Hahahah.  I do have off for an entire week after this weekend though. I'm so excited.

I really SHOULD start packing because FI and I are moving in about a month but I'm completely unmotivated. Stressful crazy week at work. I might take this weekend to relax and take care of myself. Get some laundry and grocery shopping done, give myself a nice gel mani/pedi, do a hair masque (my hair needs it after what I just put it through) and sleep. Yes sleep. Oh, and drink. I'll probably do a bit of that too.

@MissBoPeep:  It's going to be SUPER cold but thankfully there's an indoor ring where the footing is still ok.

I was supposed to go on a fox hunt tomorrow, but the ground is so frozen it's like concrete, so it got cancelled for the horses' sake.

@MissBoPeep:  Omg this sounds so delicious. I don't think they even sell crawfish at most grocery stores here.

    @regberadaisy: Whachoo packing??

Not to be a Debbie-downer but my weekend could be better in 100 ways. My first midterm is monday (Constitutional Law) & DH is away all weekend at his accounting designation classes. Pretty much it's all studying for us... I'm currently taking a little break before I dive into my notes: I'll live vicariously through your weekends.

@KatNYC2011:  It sounds really nice, but I actually only took one day off.  Saturday and Sunday nights are considered next week.  So being that I only work three, I'd have one more night to work.  It's just nice to not have to worry about work whatsoever.  I'm excited.  Not going to be doing much except relaxing and spending much quality time with Fi.  He's been feeling really lonely and depressed (about no job).  I am planning a picnic for us as well.  =)

@KatNYC2011:  I know.  I feel bad for him.  But I'm crossing my fingers I get a day job soon and things start looking up for him.  I'm excited.  I'm designating that day as "no technology" day as well.

@frugalfiance:  That's exciting!  I need to go to vegas some day.

@MissPumpkinPie:  Where are you going for your cruise?  I love being able to get away from everything.  We go camping every summer and I can't wait.  No phone, no tv, no internet, no one to bother us about anything and I love it!

We are probably going to go on a hike tomorrow with our toddler and maybe do some sledding/a picnic.

Also, this weekend, I have some really embarassing plans. I have to practice for my driver's license exam! I don't know how to parallel park, and it's a requirement in Montana. I moved out of state recently, and I hadn't realized my license expired! So, now I have to take the driving test, and I've never learned to parallel park (it's not part of the test in Ohio). I currently am 25 years old and have a learner's permit...it's so embarassing! Of course my friends think this whole situation is hilarious.

@Aure:  I used to hate that at my old job, thankfully now where I work the office is closed over the weekend so I don't have to worry about it.  I usually get at least 5 phone calls when I go on vacation though because someone can't figure out how to do something! Fingers crossed nothing interrupts your weekend!

@MissBoPeep: Well, the office is "closed" but people go in over the weekend and we have a lot of client facing litigation support technology that's in use 24/7. Being the IT Manager I'm always on call. Attorneys and servers don't care what day of the week it is, unfortunately.

My FI is away for work, so lonely me is going to try to get as many wedding crafts done as possible.  This weekend I'll be getting my dose of Dr. WHo while I tackle putting together pocketfolds for my invites.

FI has off alllll weekend, starting tonight! That NEVER happens. Tonight he is cooking dinner, tomorrow we are sleeping in late, I'm decorating valentine's day cookies for our church and then going to FIL's house for dinner since they are having company. Sunday is church, then whatever we want to do!

@Aure:  Aww, that stinks!  I pretty much just answer phones and do paperwork at my job, the phones go to the answering service on the weekends, and what I don't finish on Friday can wait until Monday.

@couawilou:  Woohoo!  We might do something to celebrate Valentine's day but this weekend but I'm not sure yet.  I won't see him on Tuesday though so I'm kind of hoping we do!

@auggiefrog:  My SO works opposite shifts from me Mon-Fri so I only see him 2 days a week.  I watch all the shows he hates on weeknights lol!

I'm so excited for this weekend!  Tomorrow I'll be studying up for a job interview that I have on Monday, but on Sunday, we're celebrating our "engagement anniversary!"  :)  Two years ago, on Feb. 12th, my amazing husband proposed to me!  So we're having a champagne brunch and then spending the day exploring a local art museum!  I can't wait!  I think it's really sweet that my husband is so thoughtful- the day was actually HIS idea! :)

I hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend! :)

Today - Pick up supplies for the cat sanctuary and help make repairs to the sanctuary's fencing system.

Tomorrow - Buy and install a water filtration system (oh boy!!!).

Sunday - Prepare a ham dinner for friends. Chop more wood for the fireplace because we are making s'mores for dessert!

In between the aforementioned fun activities - Grading papers and exams; the usual "catch up" cleaning, laundry, and hopefully, sleep in late because I HATE getting up at 5:30 Am on the weekdays!

We actually have a pretty busy weekend planned! Tonight I have a lia sophia party (I sell as a second job) at my aunt's house and FI's BM is coming down for the night.  Tomorrow morning they are going to pick out a tux for him while I do some VDay shopping.  Sunday is a Crate and Barrel registry event and the the CHcago Auto Show... It's going to be a fun one!

@les105  Whoa, I'm confused!  When did you take your driver's test in Ohio?  I took my driver's test in Ohio in the summer of 1999, and parallel parking was most certainly a requirement!  I practiced and practiced and practiced for that part of the test!  It totally stressed me out, but I passed (although I still hate parallel parking!).  I'm sure you'll be the same way though- once you're in the car, you'll get "in the zone" and nail it! :)  Good luck!! :)

I'm actually doing something this weekend! My FI is going out all day tomorrow snowboarding with his buddies. He's excited since it's been an almost snowless winter, though we're getting some tonight.

I'm spending the day with my mom. We're going to go shopping, then to order and pay for our cupcakes and flowers. It's going to be a girls day!

Then on Sunday, it's the usual. FI and I will go to church then home come and relax.

I'm planning on having a super productive weekend! Tonight my FI and I are going out to dinner, tomorrow we are going to pick out his tux and then shopping for my rehersal dinner dress and wedding shoes, on sunday we are having lunch with friends and somewhere in there I need to finish our invitations and get them stamped and ready for postage - I need to rubber stamp the back of the envelopes which is a delicate process so wish me luck! Have a lovely weekend ladies!

I actually have some fun plans this weekend! (it's usually just a lot of homework).

Tonight my department is having our annual chili cookoff, so I'm getting ready to start making pork and pumpkin chili for my contribution.

Then tomorrow night DH and I are celebrating our birthday with friends at one of our favorite local restaurants and bars (we both turn 26 on Monday).

I'll still have a bunch of homework, but at least I get to break it up with fun stuff!
