Bees, I am thanking God today that I am alive!
Fiance drove me to work today. On the way there I said to him, “Something smells hot.” He told me it was probably the exhaust or something. I figured he was right since he knows cars and I thought nothing more of it.
He just texted me and said he burned his hand. I asked how he did that, expecting a goofy answer because he burns, cuts, scratches, hurts himself daily. Needless to say, I was not expecting his answer.
He got my Jeep used and has been working on it piece by piece to make it exactly what I want, so I expected some bumps along the way, including parts needing replaced and just some general TLC that it hadn’t had in a LONG time.
The “hot” smell was old grass and dirt clogging up around the muffler and could have caught fire. FH said he burned his hand when he was cleaning the underside of the Jeep and a piece of the stuff fell into his glove.
I remember saying a prayer when I smelled it the first time, asking God to just keep us safe. I’m always paranoid of weird smells, sounds, etc. Today, that prayer was definitely answered!
