yes - weird title. lol. but I've dealt with all three today!

here in indy we've had HORRIBLE flooding everywhere...i was supposed to work monday, tuesday, wednesday of this week and take of thursday and friday - wedding is this saturday.

wake up today to horrible storms - get ready to go to work and see a voicemail from my supervisor stating that there are trees down in the parking lot of our building and the flooding is so horrible that ONLY critical lab personnel are allowed in - and I heard rumor from a friend (co-worker) they were bringing them in by cab and not letting anyone park...

first off - the building I work at is between exactly street A and Street B on Street C. On the news - they have talked about all morning how "some of the worst flooding is on Street C Between streets A & B. They even mentioned a sinkhole! which I wouldn't be surprised, knowing that road...

so YAY no work!

Wedding - 4 days away. only 2.5 more that I have time to do anything...and i AM going into work tomorrow (as long as we're "allowed"...).

So I KNEW I had to organize all the centerpieces but have been putting that off. So I did that today and TOTALLY forgot all the damn stickers (price tags and stuff) were on the vases I bought...all 25 of them! so for an hour and a half - out came the nail polish as I rubbed all the stickers off and washed the vases with soap/water.

now - shop vacs...yeeaaaah - whoever decided that our basement was a good place for an indoor swimming pool was WRONG! I've dumped the 5-gallon tank - no joke - at least 13 times now and it's STILL going.

but i'm breathing (nail polish remover fumes...lol) and I've only got 4 more days to go!!!!

anyone else working down to the last minute?

I still have the ceremony music CD to put together and finish our candy bar favors...
