Wow just had one and it tastes soooo good, just like the real thing. My Hubby and I are TTC and the Doc advised us to not drink hardly at all. Only a few a week. I’m a beer drinker. I love my beer. Don’t get me wrong Im a runner and, and physically fit and plan on not having a drop of alcohol during Pregnancy time. Just love my beer one a night (or two 😉 ). I’m so happy that I can drink this and feel comforted throughout the 9 months. So all you Bee’s who love thier beer, get some Becks!

It’s good to have options. The only alcohol I’ve wanted since pregnant is champagne. Does anyone know of any suitable (meaning good) non-alcoholic alternative? Sunday is our anniversary. Would love to be able to celebrate!

@Candice- I hear that sparkling grape has a similar taste. I love how there are options. Im gonna try Coors lite non alcoholic next. It’s also nice to learn about myself that it’s not about the buzz beer gives me. It’s all about the taste and comfort feeling.

Now if only they had a non-alcoholic champagne. I love it. I’m usually not celebrating when I decide to buy some! I’m not TTC but when I am, its gonna be so sad! 🙂
I’ve also told my husband that his drinking will basically cease also. He wasn’t thrilled with the news!

We always do sparkling grape on NYE if we are out somewhere and have to drive. Some taste just like grape juice, others taste more like champagne. I’d try a couple of different brands to find one you like.
I also love drinking ginger ale for the taste and the bubbles, and I would assume that it might even settle an upset pregnancy tummy.
We are still a couple years away from wanting kids, but I will miss my martinis the most. I will sit there with a jar of olives just to make me feel better 🙂

@ELLA- LMAO you just had my crackin up about your jar of olive comment. 🙂
My Husband actually volunteered to stop drinking when I do. My heart melt I was so happy. It meant so much to me just to show how much he cared.
I also got Coronita’s (7 ounce Corona’s) to drink occasionally instead of my 12 ounce beer until I got pregnant. I just want to do this right!

I have lots of silly olive stories. We have a local Irish bar, that’s really more of a beer and whiskey place (for all of the obvious reasons) well I would go in there to order my dirty martinis and half the time they wouldn’t have olives.
So we called a friend once and had him pick up olives on the way, which he gave directly to the bartender. They turned out to be spanish olives, and the martini was awful. Needless to say, they threw away the container…
I had no idea that there were so many kinds of non-alch. beer! Kudos to you for doing your homework. I had a friend who realized about 1 week after a big night out with lots of drinking that she was about 4 weeks pregnant.. luckily everything was fine, but very good of you to be proactive about it!
