@Nic01:  are you just putting the picture inside the card or mounting it on the front?

if you are just putting the picture inside then i would buy some plain a6 cards from a hobby/craft shop and use them. the pic would be slightly longer (max 2mm) but the envolope would be more than big enough to accomodate the card and picture!

plus you could personalise the front of them with a thankyou stamp! 🙂

@Nic01:  I don’t really think 182 x 117mm is all that big. there are cards from hallmark & others that are easily that size…

I don’t think anyone will even notice all that much, will they?

I mean… you have reason for wanting the card bigger than the picture from the photo booth…

if it really, really bothers you, put the picture on the bigger card, with enough space around it and then size it down with a paper cutter / a paper guillotine to make it smaller… but i would rather just use the bigger card without resizing it…

I don’t think much of it, I just appreciate a thank you as it seems lots of people don’t bother nowadays (or do it super late).  The only issue i see with a larger card is you’ll have to write longer letters!!

@Nic01:  i see 2 options.

you can go with the smaller thank you with their matching envelopes along with an envelope that would accommodate the photo booth pic.  use the larger envelope for the pic and as an outer envelope for your thank you.

if you go with the larger card, you don’t have to make your wedding picture as large as the card itself.  what if you did a smaller, frame-like picture and have the thank you either above or below to take up space.  or, maybe you can do a collage of a few pictures so that your pics themselves will be smaller.  of course both would fit into this matching envelope.

examples for larger card with smaller pictures.

So that’s like a 5×7″? That’s not too big!

@Pinkmoon:  I agree. Doesn’t sound too big at all!
