(Closed) Thank You Cards and Wedding Announcements – When to send out

1. Technically wedding announcements should go out the day of or after the wedding, but you should be cool sending them in the next week or so.

2. Use whatever pix you want, but since they should go out sooner rather than later, maybe use an e-pic.

3. You do not need to send a thank you note to those who attended the wedding.  Some think it is a nice gesture, others see no point, and still others see it as a gift grab (since normally notes are only sent to those who gave a gift.)

4. Thank you notes should also go out ASAP, but you should send the announcements first.  You have a 1-2 month grace period before people start wondering where their thank you note is.
