I found some beautiful (read: expensive looking!) monogramed cards in the dollar section at Michael's, I picked up three packages (along with some monogram stickers to seal them) and plan on using them as my TY cards.
I just finished my thank you cards last night, so I can post here! lol.
I just printed mine out on card, postcard size, design on the front and im writing on the back. Its a really simple design. I ran them through the printer at home.
We are taking the design from our save the date and just chaning the text from "std" to "thank you". I figure it'll be easy to do and we might as well start and end with the same thing!
I think since you have so much time before the HM to work on them for sure, and you probably wont have your photos back yet AND have time to design it AND write, address, send, etc before the HM
Thanks! I ended up finding cute, cheap plain cards at Hobby Lobby and personalizing them with some stamps. As much as I'd like to use a wedding picture, it would be more stress in the end!
I'm using bulk cherry blossom thank yous from Target and making two cuts on the front to insert a little e-pic of us.

We sent our thank yous out soon after the wedding. I don't think it's a good idea to wait for the pictures to come back, then to order photo cards.
I got a pack of thank you cards at Micheal's that coordinate with the stds. They are black and white, and we also have red as a color so I'm going to put a nice rose seal/sticker on the back flap.
One of my friends sent out postcards after their honeymoon with pictures from their honeymoon on them. I thought that was very cute!
My fiance and I found a street in our area that is literally his first & last name road and it intersect with my first name & his last name road (does that make sense)? Our thank you card will have a picture of that intersection on it.

You're telling me! We found it a few years ago and I usually make my fiance drive me past it a few times a summer. I get excited every single time!

i don't know just yet... maybe a folded card and add a photo of us at the wedding? it will def match up with the STDs and invites though!

Create the honeymoon of your dreams.
I first thought I'd wait and use a wedding photo card, but now I'm thinking it would be better to work on them asap after the wedding since we don't leave for a month on our honeymoon. Should I do plain or personalized stamped cards? One with an engagement photo? What are you doing?
