My bachelorette party is coming up in a few weeks – a girls’ trip to Chicago! I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. 🙂 The plan is to meet at the hotel on Friday evening, then head out for a casual dinner and drinks. On Saturday we’re sightseeing and getting pedicures before the “big night out” – and what they have planned that night is still a total mystery to me, but it should be pretty crazy knowing my friends!
Here’s my question. I’m so thankful to these women for this incredible weekend – it’s going to mean a major sacrifice of time and, for some, money. One of the attendees is flying up from FL, one from MI, and everyone else is driving from WI and OH. They’ve already told me not to worry about my share of the hotel, meals and drinks, etc., but I really want to do something to thank them.
I’ve thought about bringing some sort of thank-you gift for each woman, or buying lunch while we’re out and about on Saturday. Any other ideas? We’re a little strapped for cash being only a month out from the wedding, but I could swing something in the $200 range. (There are 7-8 other women attending.)
I haven’t talked to any of my ladies about this because I know that they’ll just tell me not to worry about a thank you. But I would feel really weird having them go to all this trouble and not do SOMETHING to show my gratitude (other than saying it, of course).
