Trying to finish up my thank you cards and I had a couple of questions.
For a gift (in this case cash) with the card signed by more than one person that live together (i.e. a woman and her adult son) would you send one card or two separate cards?
I also had a case in which we received a gift from my cousin and her husband, their two adult children (who I believe both live at home) and their daughter’s boyfriend. In this case, would it be best to send one card to the cousin/husband, one card to their daughter/boyfriend and a third to their son?
And I’m not sure what to do about immediate family. I received an iPad from my sister, her two children (under age 18) and her boyfriend as well as my other sister, her husband, her two sons (one over 18) and her son’s girlfriend. In addition, one of my sisters paid for my wedding cake and got us a hotel room for our wedding night and my other sister paid $500 towards our wedding deposit. How do I handle thank you cards since they both did things for me that the rest of their families weren’t part of? Obviously I can write a separate thank you card for my sister’s son and girlfriend but I’m not sure about the others.
