i have this book and i LOVE it, even though im NOT AT ALL a bridal magazine/book girl.
my FMIL and i actually just looked thru it yest for shower ideas! ;)
missjyc- I am not a bridal magazine or book person either. I have actually hated most of that stuff, but this book is just great. I called it my Bridal Bible last night and FI laughed at me! It really does provide so much great information.
I bought this book also after reading her blog post. I look through it every time I start looking for a new vendor. It's been very helpful!
Im not officially engaged yet but we have started with planning... so I went on amazon and just ordered this book!! Thanks for the feedback!

I should totally just cave and buy this book. I keep hearing everyone say how amazing it is!
I also had bought this book and also found it EXTREMELY helpful. I too wished I found it sooner lol I might have my copy around if someone wants to buy a banged up used version :p
i might as well just cave and buy this. i've heard about it a few times but felt the same way as you did - i already have like four wedding books that i've probably only looked at like once.... one has turned into my organizational binder, but i totally ignore all of the advice given in it. barnes and noble here i come?

Dearest Miss Scissors,
I saw your blog post over a month ago about the book "The Wedding Book: The Big Book for Your Big Day", but foolishly didn't go buy it on the spot. My problem was that I had bought wedding books in the past and they were completely useless. Well, with my wedding fast approaching I finally bought the book this week. The book is AWESOME! My only regret is that I didn't buy this read a year ago. Thank you so much for the recommendation!

Go buy this book, you will not regret it! It has great information in it about every wedding topic and has helped to answer those nagging wedding etiquette questions that keep me awake at night.
I think I may buy this book for every newly engaged friend in the future. I wish I had read it a year ago when I was newly engaged!
