i haven't gotten to this part of my planning just yet, but i'd say that your guests want to hear your voice. if you're a heartfelt (not schmancy wording) person then they'll love to hear you tell them straight up that it means the world to you to share your wedding with those you love most and you can't thank them enough for coming. or you could use a meaningful quote or poem to thank them. (i googled friendship poems, hope they're not too sappy)/

On this day we thank our parents, our families, and our friends for your love, support, and encouragement. You have touched us in so many ways, and we would not be who we are today if it weren’t for you.
I know you wedding is already over, but I'm leaving this here for other brides. I know I looked hard and long for something that said everything I wanted to say to our friends and family. So this is what we put in our program:

I'm doing a thank you section on the back of my programs - thanking family and friends for coming, thanking our parents, and then a bit about thinking of those who have passed on.
However, I'm not much with the fancy words, I pretty much have "thank you for being here, it means a lot to us", etc.
If anyone wants to share something that they've written for this/has suggestions, I would love to hear them!
