We’d like to send thank yous with a picture because we think its a nice touch. Do people appreciate wallet sized pictures or will that be a waste?
If we do pictures, would you rather get a standard couple portrait, or would you rather have a cutesy cheesy “thank you” picture? (like this)

Well, there isn’t a picture in your post… but I am electing to do a more candid shot of us for the cards. Personally, I always pin any picture I’m mailed to my fridge.
ETA: Nevermind– the pic loaded. I still like the more candid shots though. This is what we’re sending:

Seems like most people prefer the thank you props! Not too many votes yet though lol

I like the thank you pic but I also like a candid picture of the couple like PP put up. Definitely not a formal one

I don’t know. When I thought about the picture, it reminded me of when we gave out our wallet sized pics when I was in middle school. I wound up with pics I didn’t want or need.

I definitely wouldn’t display a couple’s “Thank you” pic (it would go in the trash, realistically), but if I’m close to the couple, a lovely one from the wedding would definitely be on the fridge or framed!
That surprises me how many people voted for the “Thank you” pic. I know that’s more in vogue these days, but what would you do with it after you receive the card?

I really dislike the thank you prompt picture. I would prefer no picture to getting one with that. A wedding picture would be nice.

I would either send a thank you picture postcard or no picture at all. Putting a picture into a card seems a little much, like you want it to be displayed in their home.
