High five to HG! I was also really lucky like that. My hubby did huge amounts with the thank you notes. Although I don't think I ever gave him the option of NOT doing his half. :-)
Oh wow! I did all of ours. I'm sure if I asked, Mr. MJ would have helped, but he says I have better handwriting. He did address and stamp many of the envelopes though, so that's a huge help!!
caitlin - I guess I could have mentioned that it wasn't really an option -- but I didnt have to push too much :)
maryjane - That was his attemp "my handwriting is awful" - I dont care! I wrote all of them for the showers since they were for "me" -- but he did the addressing and stamping of those. We printed some lables for the thank you's - enough is enough in my mind!! :)
I had my DH write all of the thank yous! He has the better handwriting, and since I made almost everything for the wedding (too much DIY) we both agreed it was fair. High fives for awesome hubbyz!!
Oh I'm so jealous! My husband still has 4 thank you notes and a post it with four names and addresses on them. He kept asking me NOT to write a few people so he could do it so I had to sneak thank yous out the door even though he wasn't writing them!
We finally finished last week. He did a some of his friends, his siblings, granparents and parents. I did the rest. He did make me labels and he made my photo-upload cards. I'd say I did the majority of the work since I had o help him collect his thoughts for the one he did write. Isn't it a relief to be done.

We are finishing our thank you notes tonight -- our goal was two months and that will be next week -- and I feel like I had to give my husband a weddingbee high five -- he seriously did his whole side of the family and the majority of his friends. I feel SO lucky that I didnt have to write thank you notes to his family members that I barely know. Anyway, just wanted to pass it along that no, he doesn't have the best handwriting, and no, his thank yous aren't perfectly written, but they are complete and from his heart and I know his family is going to appreciate it. It's so nice to be a team!
