Awesome! First...b/c he's finally done! My guy has also been going to get his masters for the last 6 1/2 years (he also works full time and is trying to get his masters in biology), and he's done on the 29th! So congrats to him for finishing!
And even more awesome that his friend said that to him hahaha...maybe he'll get the hint :o)
That is a really weird thing for someone to post on his FB page.. But very nice! And it's a compliment to you obviously b/c this friend sees you as marriage material for your BF. I'm crossing my fingers for you!
@mrsmdphd He didn't respond! But that's kind of normal--he didn't respond to any of the other responses to his status either.
@moderndaisy Yeah it's a little odd--but the friend who posted it is a very sweet, VERY family-oriented guy (and my new best friend! LOL)
I love it! Finally the boys getting their own pressure from their friends! My boy claims none of his friends ask him when hes going to propose - but thats because they always ask me!
I found out my BF was going to propose soon by a comment his mother made on his FB page! (But I'm letting him think I was totally surprised). :-)
haha I love it when other people put on the pressure so you don't come across as nagging! Congrats to your guy in finishing school, and here's hoping it brings an engagement!

It's nice to have people pressuring/asking the boy not just us girls. Me and SO work at the same office. It's a mostly female office and the girls used to ask me when we were getting engaged/married. They now ask the boy :) and I love it!
Woot woot! My family wasn't all "OMG IT'S SO EXCITING!" when we got engaged because everyone knew it was going to happen eventually---he asked my dad for his blessing so my dad told everyone! HAHA In your case, everyone will be thrilled when it does happen becuase it will be "About damn time!" :) Yeah!!
LOL love it! While BF was out with this buds on St.Pats, one of my friends ran into them there and literally *TOLD* (not asked, TOLD) BF to propose to me and BF said, "Its just a matter of time" :) Love when other people step in and put the pressure on hahaaha!
The last thing i would ever want to do is put "pressure" on a guy to propose!. To each their own i guess.
That is fantastic! You know when a guy's friend is pressuring him, it's time for him to man up and get it done

My BF has his very last class for the part time MBA he's been perusing for the last 3 years TODAY. He's been working full time as well as going to school and I've always suspected that his full plate has (partially) influenced our lack of engagement.
Today he posted that he had his last class to his facebook status, and one of his friends replied: "Great! Now you can get engaged!"

After years of hearing "When are you getting engaged?" when the BF wasn't around, I'm glad to see he's getting some pressure on his side too. :P
