The had such good reviews on a lot of national websites and were a Knot Pick and a Wedding Wire Pick so I thought it sounded like a great deal at first. But after searching for reviews from brides on other boards - not The Knot or Wedding Wire! - I got pretty anxious.
Close call!
Those Knot and WeddingWire picks aren't based on all that much, so you are smart to do your own research.
I'm a photographer and I just LOVE Ashley Turner's work in St. Louis. I don't know your budget, but I know she is a very sweet person whose work I have been following for a long time!

You guys totally made me second-guess my choice of choosing a photographer from The Pros. Even though the photographer had a nice profile, great feedback (on their site) and a good portfolio, I wanted to double-check so I searched around here...
Your input was valuable, especially regarding the way the company treated you after you placed the deposit. Didn't get to meet the photographer before the big day? WHAT? I emailed my "consultant" and asked if that was true and she hasn't replied. Of course.
So, thank you all for the heads-up. I did more research and am hiring a great local photographer instead. Keep up the reviews, positive and negative, so we can all make the best decisions!
