I like making tiramisu around November. I don't know why, but I think it's a very good autumn dessert.
I'm making sweet potato pie. It tastes just like pumpkin pie, but it uses sweet potatoes, which are in-season here right now, and I find them a lot easier to work with than pumpkin.
Pumpkin roll! I looooove the taste of the pumpkin and the cream cheese filling!!
Every holiday my grandmother makes the BEST sweet rolls early in the morning and everyone snacks on them before the meal. We also get a lemon meringue pie. It's my siters fav!

I do have a pretty badass tiramisu recipe if you're interested, Lillindy. It's sort of a pain the first few times, but after awhile you get it down to an exact science and then it doesn't take so long or seem so tedious =]
I'm going to be making a Pumpkin Hazelnut Torte with Pumpkin Cream Frosting. A coworker made Pumpking Parfaits for our office Potluck, it was soo light and good!
@, Lillindy, I usually make The Barefoot Contessa's Tiramisu which is awesome and super easy!
I'd like to change it up a little and try something different for dessert, but my ILs are cooking this year. They're pretty traditional.
Our oven is out :( I just bought a store bought pumpkin pie, except hubby squished it before we even got it home from the grocery store lol I'll have to fill that spot in with extra whip cream!
Last year I made pumpkin cheesecake... it was sooooo delicious, but kinda time consuming. I think I'm going with store bought this year ;)
i'm whipping up a spice cake w/bourbon pecan frosting! i did a poached pear and brown butter tart last year, but it was wayyy too much for three people and ended up going bad before we could finish it :( the cake should be more manageable though!
