Going to friend’s house they’re doing the main meal, and we’re bringing apps:

Smoked Jalapeno poppers

charcuterie tray

artichoke dip with crackers

Forgot bread at store so made baguettes this morning

And a sweet treat for later:  two kinds of homemade marshamallows – coffee and pumpkin to go in beverages or be torched on top of pie.

turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole. we were too full for the pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, so we’ll have to plan better tonight.

I’m at work all day! I brought in a Tofurky, pumpkin pie, and apple cider. Dinner for all of us at the 911 dispatch center tonight also includes broccoli and cheese casserole, turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, spinach dip, chocolate chip cookies, stuffing, and stuffed bread.

This year it is just DH and me and it was our first time cooking thanksgiving dinner! We had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and rolls. The turkey took about an hour longer than planned but everything still tasted great!

ETA: we will be having strawberry cheesecake pie for dessert!

Willowtree2222:  No way, Jose! Raw poultry bones are easily chomped and eaten by dogs. Cooked ones can splinter and hurt. Turkey necks are good for his teeth! I know many people who buy them from butchers for their dogs.
