the Men’s Warehouse salesman asks when your wedding date is & you reply “oh we’re not engaged”
I wanted to face palm myself then and there.
SO and I went to Men’s Warehouse this evening to get him measured for the suit he needs for our friend’s wedding in August and above conversation happened.

aww I’m sorry 🙁 people are wierd sometimes.
I went to tiffanys with SO the other day to look for ideas for my ring since he wants to design it later this year and we were there for 20 minutes trying things on before the lady asked if I was looking for an engagment ring…I was like uh obviously?? I’ve been trying on the engement rings and saying things about engagement to my SO the whole time we’ve been here. It was a bit sad. lol

Awwwwwkkkkwwwardd. It is probably worse to be the person asking the awkward question, though, so take solace in that haha. For me anyway, I hate innocently asking someone a question about a sore subject -_- I’m awkward enough as it is.

@braverbeating: I called up a furniture store the other day to chase up a wardrobe we had ordered in SO’s name because he hadn’t heard anything yet and the gentleman on the phone kept calling me “Mrs SO-Surname”. He was extremely polite on the phone so I didn’t have the heart to correct him. I just giggled when I hung up and texted it to SO.
