So a quick background. My fiance and I have been together since high school. He was 15, I 16 (almost 17). We've been together since then, through many hard times and 1200 miles apart. Fast forward to December 2011, him and I both live in NC together, things going GREAT! I come home from work late at night, fall semester at college had ended. He gets on one knee at home, and asks the question I've waited almost 6 years to hear. Clear YES!
Now, fast forward, lol. I finally started looking at dresses in August, and tried some on at a local bridal shop. Fell in love with one, but didn't want to jump too soon, especially without my mother and sister there. So they came up from Charleston in September, and we went to one of the "Top 50 Bridal Stores in the Country!!" LIE! Tried on some expensive dresses that never wowed any of us, and service was terrible. They saw pictures of me in this one particular dress, I didn't even remember the designer, but they NEEDED to see me in it. We went to said store, and hunted out the dress. They made plenty of time for me, and as soon as I walked out in it, they both started sobbing.
Mind you I am the youngest child in my family, first to wed. My fiance and I are first loves to each other, as well as first boyfriend and girlfriend to another. It was literal love at first sight, and my family adores him. Anywho, this is the dress we ended up going with. It was $800 with taxes, minus an En Vogue simple belt we got for it. I never once got buyers regret, and I still love it!! Cannot wait for it to come in in a couple weeks. I love my Nova!!!
