CatyLady:  Thanks for starting the new thread.

    Roll Call

Cycles/months trying: 5 cycles (long cycles)/~6 months of trying

Day of cycle: CD1 starting all over again 😉

Link to Chart (if you have one): http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/candy11

Any known issues? Not known fertility issues except for male factor performance issue that is preventing us from hitting the FW. We hope we can sort this out with the a specialist in the upcoming months. In the mean time, we are just taking the “if it happens it happens” approach as we know that our BD timing hasn’t been that great. Anyhow, I hope we can soon move on into other methods such as IUI because this waiting game is killing me. I think it’s time to have a good talk with DH.

As the World Cup has started, what sporting interests would you like your child to have? I would love my child(ren) to love sports. It’s not only fun, entertaining and so good as a physical activity. I don’t mind what sport they choose as long as they love it. Good question! As a child, I loved soccer. I also enjoy playing basketball and baseball.

    Copy-pasted from the last thread!

Cycles/months trying: TTC since November 2013 – got pregnant first cycle, had a miscarriage in January, started trying again in March. Currently in the TWW (I think) of Cycle 4 post-miscarriage.

Current CD/DPO: CD 18. I’ve only been charting here and there this month, because it’s just too easy for me to get frustrated, but based on past cycles I’m pretty sure I’m 2 dpo.

Any known issues? PCOS. I’m taking 2000 mg of metformin, which has really regulated my cycles. Our miscarriage was due to triploidy, which the doctor said has a really low rate of reoccurence, so we haven’t done any genetic counseling yet. I just did two cycles of Clomid at 50 mg – ovulated but did not get pregnant both times.

Next steps? Right now, we’re just trying on our own for another cycle or two. I’m taking ubiquinol and fish oil for egg health (since the doctor suspected the triploidy was of maternal origin, I want to make sure my eggs are in good shape) and doing my best to eat a healthy, varied diet with lots of produce. If we don’t get the job done by September, I’m going to make an appointment with an RE and hopefully we can do the whole HSG/sperm analysis thing and maybe move on to IUI and monitored cycles with some kind of ovulation induction.

A favourite chlidhood memory? Family bike rides!

Has anyone here used the Circle and Bloom relaxation programs for fertility? I’m thinking about buying them before my next cycle, but I’m not sure I want to spend the money if it’s something I can just do on my own with positive thoughts and relaxing music. Thoughts? 🙂

Link to Chart (if you have one): http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/banana330

Any known issues? Two MC, doc said thyroid looked ok, on baby aspirin full time and progestrone after O (1st cycle doing this).  Otherwise no know problems.

Next steps? Going for a Sonohystogram next week to check out my uterus. other than that keep trying! Hoping to BD EOD next cycle, FF changed my O date twice this month so we were a bit off.

As the World Cup has started, what sporting interests would you like your child to have? swimming!

Technically June marks  1 year of TTC. But I have long cycles – so I am just ending cycle 8.  Like other Bees have said – we are not ready for intervention yet so i dont really fit into the 1+ board.

    Roll Call

Cycles/months trying: Cycle 8 – June is month 12 of TTC

Day of cycle: 14 DPO (tested this morning bc AF didnt show – BFN)

Link to Chart (if you have one): http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsBaldEagle

Any known issues? I went to my OBGYN to talk about my concerns with my long cycles.  I had bloodwork done and an ultrasound.  Only issue found was that I have a hormonal imbalance (no wonder BCP worked wonders for me!) but I do ovulate, it just takes longer than usual. We decided that come August – if I am not pregnant I will start seeing the fertility specialist. I had been drinking Fertilitea but stopped since I think the vitex caused me to spot.  Now I am taking I3C which is supposed to help block bad estrogen.  So far so good!

As the World Cup has started, what sporting interests would you like your child to have? I really dont have any preference – I just want my kids to be active and well rounded.

whybee:  It is very hard to watch lots of bees get their BFPs very quickly.  everyone deserves to be pregnant – but I cant help feeling happier for the bees that didnt have it as easy.

    Roll Call

    Cycles/months trying: on our 7th cycle…6 months.

    Day of cycle: CD 4

Link to Chart (if you have one): how do I do this? I use FF app… O.o lol

Any known issues? No known issues. My annual pap is scheduled for October, so I’m trying to wait till then before getting any testing done.

As the World Cup has started, what sporting interests would you like your child to have?

Anything really. DH is convinced our future son will play football. If we have a daughter I’d like for her to do dance and soccer or softball, but really it just depends on what they choose to do.

candy11:  Oh, boo for CD 1! That sucks. You don’t have to answer this if it’s too personal, but has your DH considered taking Viagra or Cialis? My DH is usually okay in that department, but the pressure of TTC can make it really difficult for him, and we’ve talked about having him look into one of those. (We’ve used Viagra, uh, recreationally before… and boy, was that honeymoon fun!)

whybee:  Boo for the BFN. 🙁 Will the NHS pay for a regular old horomone panel to check for PCOS? (Like a CD 3 FSH/LSH/testosterone test?)

Ok, am going to attempt replies to one thread whilst directing us over to the new one…

KatieBklyn:  Of course you can join! It’s nice to know that there are other bees out there who have the same reaction when someone else gets a BFP on their first go. Makes me feel like less of a monster! I tested this morning with my FRER and nothing, so I’ll be venting at the GP this afternoon as planned…

phoebephoebo:  Hey! You know, I’ve been wondering where you’d gotten to. I was thinking of PM’ing you to see if all was ok. Completely understand you wanting to take a back seat from the boards – but hopefully this one’ll be better for you! Sorry to hear the clomid’s making you icky. When will you know if it’s worked its magic?

candy11: Yes, join us! I was thinking of mentioning it to you over on the other thread, as it kinda seemed like you could use it 🙂 Might try recruiting a couple of other girls I can think of as well.

CatyLady: Thanks for starting a new thread! Let’s see if we can keep this going 🙂

Yay, my cross-thread post worked! Ok, new roll-call, although not much has changed since yesteday, lol…

Cycles/months trying: Just coming to the end of #6; we’ll be onto #7 come the weekend…

    Current CD/DPO: 12DPO

Link to Chart (if you have one): http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/whybee

Any known issues? Nope. AMH blood test and SA have come back with excellent results.

Next steps? I’m going to see my GP today, to see if we can squeeze anything out of the NHS for free before we hit the 1-year mark. I’d like to get an HSG done, which I expect we’ll have to pay for privately. But I just feel we could spend so much money trying to rule stuff out and still not get anywhere!

As the World Cup has started, what sporting interests would you like your child to have? It’s gotta be rugby – family tradition! (I’m hoping for boys rather than girls, lol – not that they wouldn’t be free to chose whatever hobbies they wanted!)

oops, i just replied on the last one, not knowing there was a new one until i got to the end.  here is my roll coll copied over.

    Cycles Trying: Cycle 9

    Current CD/DPO: 6DPO

    Link to Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ajillity81

Any Known issues:  DH and I both have some small issues between us.  His SA came back with with all his numbers being great except morphology.  I have a fibroid that may or may not be effecting anything, the HSG said all is good, the SHG said there might be a problem.  My Day 3 bloodwork showed  high estorgen levels indicating poor egg quality.  They don’t know if it was a fluky cycle or a recurring problem so they wanted me to come back.  But I got AF on vacation last cycle so if not BFP this cycle, I will go back for another Day 3 blood work.  And will also have an MRI to to look at the fibroid.

Next Steps?  We decided to try the full 12 cycles before going through IUI.  The RE said he sees no reason why we can’t get pregnant naturally and as we get later in the number of cycles, we have statistics on our side.

As the World Cup has started, what sporting interestes would you like your child to have? I don’t care what they play or are involved in as long as they stay active in sports.  DH loves playing softball and basketball. I currently am involved in swimming, biking, and running aka triathlons but I do them separately as well.

candy11:  sorry AF officially came.  long cycles must really suck.  i know short cycles do too.  last cycle was only 23 days, and i was bleeding for 10 of them (5 actual AF and 5 days of spotting).
