Does anyone else watch The Bachelorette? It's my TV "guilty pleasure", I can't stop watching it! I really liked Jillian when she was on The Bachelor, but she's been kind of bothering me this season.
Anyone else watching? Who do you see Jill picking in the end?
She sure does cry a lot!
I like the break dancer...I think he is adorable and seems like he really likes her! I really don't like Wes at all!
When I was in college last year, every Monday a bunch of my sorority sisters would meet at someone's house and we'd have wine, study, and watch the Bachelorette and the Bachelor!
I don't watch it now, but it sure was a lot of fun in a group!
I watched the first episode and it seemed like half the men there had foot fetishes. So I stopped. Should I try and start back up with it?
I LOVE JILLIAN! There. I said it. Major girl crush. Her clothes are seriously amazing. I wonder if she puts her outfits together or if the producers help. Anyway, I love Jake the pilot. "Too perfect" my ass. I don't even usually like the clean cut blond hair look, but yum. I actually find Jillian to be incredibly real and personable. I notice little things, like the in-between shots where there is a voice-over and they just show her around a bunch of the guys. She actually seems to be enjoying herself. I was sad that *SPOILER ALERT* Ed chose to leave last night.
i didn't watch the first two episodes, but i started watching last week & to my surprise actually enjoyed it. I haven't watched the bachelor since I was in college, about 5 years ago. Anyway, I think Ed is adorable... I can't believe he left yesterday, what a horrible position his boss put him in! He was definitely my favorite! I think my favorite that is left is Kiptyn!

You know, I loved Jill when she was on The Bachelor, but she's been kind of annoying me this season. I was a little bummed that Ed had to leave, although I totally understsand his reasoning. I was surprised that Jill gave him such a hard time--in this economy, could anyone leave his/her career, knowing that they only had a 1/10 chance of getting picked in the end?
Anyway, I can't stand Wes, I think he's totally on the show just to promote his CD.
@PVaulter718, yep there is one dude with a foot thing--Tanner, who I think is kind of weird. I was actually surprised that he didn't get kicked out last night!
I am really bummed that Ed left. I'm such a dork. Part of me hopes he realizes what a mistake he made and comes back. I really think she liked him. I like Ed, Reid and Kiptyn. All are such dolls. Did anybody see the previews for next week when Wes says he got what he came for and he can bounce? Jacka$$. I am not a huge fan of Robby or Jake either, but for completely different reasons.
I do watch it although Jillian so annoys me. My father is Canadian and has an accent but her accent just annoys me no offense to anyone with an accent but I think she trys too hard sometimes to sound Canadian and then other times she doesn't. And yes they do pick out her clothes like they do with every show but they do get to have input too. I really like Jake too!!!!!!!!!!!!! That smile and his good guy personality, you wouldn't ever have to worry about him straying. But if she picks Wes she will have to worry, and their relationship will be like almost every other couple that has been on bachelorette/bachelor show.

I LOVED Jill when she was on The Bachelor and still like her but I think there is something that happens between when one is being picked on and when they are the picker. It seems like every person that was on The Bachelor/Bachelorette FIRST and then became The Bachelor/Bachelorette I liked so much better when they were just on the show being picked. Weird? It happened with EVERY single person... Trista, Bob, Meredith, Jen, Jason, and now Jilian (I NEVER liked Deanna).
I still like her but not as much :(
I was rooting for Ed to go all the way so now I have no emotion left. I do like Jesse now and like Kiptyn A LOT and Reid too and but no one compared to ED :( *melts*

I loved Ed too, I was definitely rooting for him! Now that he's gone I don't know who I like...Kipton, Reid or Jake? For some reason I'm not as into this season as I have in the past. Maybe its just too early.
OMG, I totally agree with you MrsT2Bee. I don't know why they haven't gotten rid of Wes. I was thinking that one of the guys who got eliminated last night would have said something to Jillian as he was leaving. He's such a sleaze!
:( I loved Jake. But I'm glad to see that he comes BACK later in the season. I'd been waiting to see him in his pilot uniform. Yum-O. My FI knows all about my feelings toward him (he watches it with me.)
But seriously, Wes isn't even good looking! And I was telling my FI last night, like WHO would buy his album after seeing him on this show?? No woman in their right mind would watch this show and say "You know what, he's an asshole but I NEED to buy his album."
Yeah, rchel234, they showed Jake coming back at the end of the show, during the "this season on the Bachelorette..." scenes. It totally reminded me of when Crazy Trish came back during the Jesse season of The Bachelor. My theory about Jake is that he just seemed too rehearsed. For some reason, whenever he talked, he sounded like Tom Cruise in the movie Jerry Maguire, just seemed like he was trying too hard and a bit insincere.
I'm so glad Jill finally got rid of Wes. Okay, gals, only another couple of weeks to go. Who do you think will get the final rose? My money is on Reid.

My money is on Reid too, but I'm still hoping for Ed. Reid and J remind me of me and my husband. They are silly with each other, but still have a good connection. Her and Ed seem to have a lot of chemistry together and I think he is a doll, but I think she's going to choose Reid for some reason. Oh well, I like all three of them, so I'm cool with whatever.
I hope Wes never sells a cd.
Wes is disgusting...I can't believe how he acted on the last show!
I know, I couldn't believe what a jerk Wes was! Like the thing I couldn't get over is that he thought it would help his career to go on this show and make a complete ass of himself. What person would say "Wow, he's a total jerk, but I really want to buy his CD?" Also, he was commending himself on his acting skills--I don't think he fooled anyone except Jill.
i totally agree... so glad that wes is finally gone! Ed has been my favorite since day 1, so glad he's back!
I truly can't believe all the stuff he said in the limo. He's got real problems. His mother and girlfriend also need their women cards revoked for going along with the plan to lie to and embarrass Jillian. We're supposed to stick together! :)
Kate, I thought the same thing about his family. Why would they lie like that? I think that was totally shady. If my brother asked me to do something like that, I would totally call him out on it.
I am so happy with the final 3 guys that are left; I really liked Jesse but once Ed came back I was so happy to trade Ed for Jesse. Though, now I have fallen for Reid A LOT! What a quirky, hot dork! Their date in Sevilla? So natural and easy and loveable!
Who does everyone think is the guy that she "hoped that 'romantic' connection would be there and is not"? I was thinking it was Reid the whole time but now I am moreso thinking it might be Kiptyn. It seems like she has the biggest crush on Kiptyn but almost knows deep down that they aren't perfectly right for each other but can't quite let go of it and admit it to herself. At this point... I just hope that guy isn't Reid :( If Reid and Ed are the final 2 I am going to be sooo TORN! (Which never happens, there has ALWAYS been a clear favorite for me!)

I wouldn't be surprised if ABC concocted drama either - especially after that Jason debacle... oh they milked that. How terrible for Jillian though! I am just glad that she got rid of him finally... how painful it was to watch their "date" in Spain! And his comments right before the rose ceremony... how trashy!!!
I am so glad that Wes is gone! Those comments he was making in the limo after he got booted were horrible! I am rooting for REID! He has been my fav since the beginning!!
I don't know who to root for now... I LOVED Jesse... and who wouldn't want to live on a winery in Carmel???

I am also rooting for Reid! I have liked him since I started watching the show.
Mrs. Emerald, my husband (who would be mortified if he knew I was telling people that he actually watched The Bachelorette with me) thought the same thing as you about Wes and his family. He actually thought the whole thing was staged by ABC and even that maybe Jillian was in on it.
Jessie, your husband sounds like my FI... he just totally rips on The Bachelorette and says how EVERYTHING is staged and yada yada, ugh, it gets under my skin sometimes but only because I don't want to believe it's true (even though he is probably right).
Only 1 more day! I can't wait to see who she has "romantic chemistry" with!
Wow I never even thought that ABC would have been the one to create the whole Wes thing! I also never thought that ABC would have a hand in the whole Ed leaving and coming back thing! That's pretty shady if they did!!
Of the remaining 3, I think her and Reid would probably be the best fit. I think Ed is awesome but I don't know that I see the same chemistry which him as I do with her and Reid. I also don't know if her and Kiptin would be a good fit because he doesn't seem ready to marry yet.

I agree, too. I think she did make a mistake on this one. I don't know why she was so insistent on wanting a proposal. I felt like if she really had a connection with him, then she would have allowed their relationship to progress, stayed with him and then eventually maybe they would have gotten engaged.

I think she made a HUGE mistake. I thought that Reid was the most real with his answers for her questions. In my humble opinion I am not sure she should cry that much if she knows she did the right thing.

I was really disappointed with the outcome! Also, I kinda feel bad for Ed. According to The Hubs, any guy could have, uh, performance issues, with that kind of pressure (TV cameras, relationship pressure, big build up, drunk, sunburned). I feel bad that he won't be able to live that sort of thing down!
