- Wedding: June 2015
We’re not getting married for a couple years – and we haven’t done any actual planning yet. Fiance is convinced we need to have all the cash saved first, rather than saving as we plan, so there’s a good chance the wedding will be pushed back to 2016. We don’t have a venue yet although I am pricing some up so that we can create a budget and saving plan.
But I’ve found the most beautiful vintage-style birdcage lanterns – at a supermarket, would you believe? They’re due to go out of sale pretty soon and they’re so stunning my heart is set on having them as centrepieces.
These are the ones: http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-Birdcage-Lantern—Cream/001707519,default,pd.html
I can’t buy them now since we don’t have space and don’t know how many we need, but I’m just very, very sad that we can’t have them. I wanted to put blue candles in them and have just a soft glow while people eat dinner. It was going to be perfect!
I guess I just want to have a moan. I’m scared that there won’t be anything similar around by the time we get married; that maybe vintage won’t be ‘in’ any more.
