A mere few weeks ago I was talking about wedding planning and I was informed about wedding blogs. I googled it and up popped weddingbee.
Since then, I have:
figured out a way to include a photobooth (diy) since my budget does NOT have and extra $1000,
decided to make a map of the area to add to the invite
Decided to do OOT baskets (and designed them with help on how to fill them)
Vented to the amazing bees about my FMIL trying to move my reception
Found even more reception games I wanted to try
Come up with the perfect guestbook (postcards from where we have gone as a couple, the guests can write on them and then we will laminate and bind)
As well as realized I am not alone in all this! So thanks Bees!
How has the bee changed your plans?

Since I’m still pretty new to the WB community, my love isn’t on "specifics" yet. I WILL say that I LOVE The Bee because it is so different than other wedding community websites out there, the women on here are a different "breed" if you will, something I hadn’t found on places like The Knot, WeddingChannel or Brides. Plus the site is very user friendly and not over run with ads.
The only specific I have is that it has encouraged me to blog, which I am in my first week of doing, hehe. Because I hadn’t seen any blogs on long distance wedding planning, that’s the focus of my blog. Check it out if you’d like: crosscountrywed.blogspot.com.

I Love this site!!! I feel like I found a whole bunch of new friends who share the same situations as me. usually people critisize others when they ask ” stupid” questions or any sort of questions, but here, people are so open minded and share ideas and infos. I have learned a lot so far from this site. And I just recently joined and honestly – other then FB Im not really active in many online forums. My mom has a tendancy where she wants to ” control” but not ” talk” about what I want. she gets easily annoyed adn doesnt wanna hear what I say because she thinks im annoying and talk about planning a lot, so its nice to talk freely with others and not feel bad.

I feel the same way- you get answers quicker and more nicer!! I cant rely sometims on my own mom too and it bugs me so much! Both my parents dont really interfere- but they expect things to go their way. so weird..haha. But good lck with your wedding planning. Hopefully you will get all the help and answers you need!
