Weigh-ins are usually Friday’s with the weekly winner announced by the end of the day.
For this first week, I’m going to post a weigh-in thread on Friday evening. You have until Monday morning to weigh-in and then we will have another weigh-in next Friday to get us on schedule.

My starting weight for this is 180.5lbs. I’m 5’6″.
But it still brings me great joy to type that number because just a few weeks ago I was 193. Thanks, Weight Watchers!!!! I fit into denim yesterday that I haven’t seen in a year.
I want to lose 25 more by April 1, then spend April toning up for my May wedding. My plan is to get back in the gym in January and begin running again. I want to bang out a few 5ks this spring. I did two this fall and found that I enjoyed it more than I ever imagined.

My starting weight is 180 and I’m 5′ 10″ My goal is to lose 15 lbs and get down to 165, where my BMI is firmly under 25 ^_^

I’m starting at 263 – just about 30 lb. down from where I was this time last year. I’ve been living healthy, working out and eating well for the past year and it’s been amazing. I made the decision to lose weight many months before we got engaged, but knowing I have a wedding coming up in the future is certainly helpful to keep me focused on my goals.
My goal for the end of the year is to lose the 10 lb. that My Fitness Pal projects I can lose if I stick to my goals. At the very least, I’d like to lose about 8 lb. by January 1 – which will put me in the low 250’s and bring me within 5 lb. of my next minigoal (first was 265, next is 245). My ultimate goal is to land somewhere between 120-130. It’s going to take a while, but I’m in it for the long haul!

My starting weight is 191. This is HORRIBLE! Just 2.5 weeks ago, on my wedding day I weighed 182.8! We’ve most surely been in honeymoon land but NO MORE!
Darling Husband and I have a bet going to see who can lose the most weight before Christmas and my goal is to get back down to 185 by that time.
EDIT: I have a FitBit and I use that for all of my calorie tracking!

My starting weight is 179.2. I was 183 last week so I’m feeling pretty happy today 🙂 My goal for the next 4 weeks is to drop a pants size so I can fit back into my size 10 work slacks. I only have two pairs of size 12 and my outfits are getting repetitive, haha.
Ultimately, I’d like to get back down to 135 (pre-college-and-baby weight), but I’m taking it slow — don’t want to get frustrated and screw it up like last time!
I’m tracking what I eat with the FatSecret Calorie Counter app, and yesterday I bought a gym membership. I’m going to work out today and I’m really excited about it!

Starting at 170.2lbs and I’m 5’8″.
2 months ago at the wedding I was 166.6. I know it’s less than 5lbs back on, but I worked SO hard to get down to 166 and really want to get down below 150lbs.
I’m a size 12/14 in pants and really want to be an 8/10.
Time to crack it into gear and stop snacking my way through the day and exercise again. Just because I have nothing scheduled during most days of the week (looking for work) doesn’t mean I should spend the whole day sitting on the couch, watching tv and eating.

hey guys, is it ok if I participate but don’t “compete” ? I have a lot of goals and want motivation and to motivate others but I don’t weigh myself.
My goals are mostly to get back into my jeans. I have gained weight since I got married and want to get it off and get back in shape. I re-adjusted my work schedule so I can go to the gym in the morning and I am trying to make better food choices.

Ok I’ll play. I’m going to PM my weight b/c well…. I’m worse off than everyone who has posted AND my name isn’t entirely anonymous… I have a MD appt tomorrow I’m dreading b/c I know my weight will be the focus.
My goal is to drop 20lbs for 1/1 to be at my wedding weight. I have enough to lose that this isn’t an outlandish goal. I hope that something finally clicks for me and allows me to commit to weight loss / being healthy. I do good during the week and KILL MYSELF every weekend. I have to find a balance.

My starting weight is 171. By Christmas I’d love to be down to 160-165 (may be a lofty goal, but my weight flucuates ridiculously easily. I can lose like three pounds in a day, which I know is water weight but when I step on the scale it’s still three pounds to me!!). By the time I get married in June I’d love to be 130-140. I’m not the best eater (really don’t eat that much/overeat but I usually make really unwise food choices), but when I actually act on eating better and exercising, I find I lose weight pretty quickly…which I know is usually the case for people who have weight to lose (which is why girls who weight 120 pounds and have really small amounts of body fat find it almost impossible to lose even a couple pounds). I’m a size 8 right now, but having let myself get this far when in college a few years ago I was regularly a size 4, I desperatly want to and NEED to get myself back to that. I am absolutely FED UP with feeling uncomfortable in my skin. And my wedding day is supposed to be the one day I feel prettier than every…and I know if I keep putting this off before I know it my wedding will be here and I’ll be beating myself up for continuing to look this way for my wedding. I’m putting this all out there becuase I need. to. hold. myself. accountable. For once. In my head I have all these goals and when I fail, it’s not that bad because no one knew about them anyway so I can save face. But now all of you fellow bees know this so I can’t hide anymore!

The last time I weighed myself was the Friday before Thanksgiving, and since then I was doing field work (more active than sitting at the desk, but no high cardio art the gym and ate a LOT more than I normally do). So for this week I am just hoping to break even…. My goal is to be around 190 by my first dess fitting on 12/21 and to be around 155 by my June 2 wedding….we shall see….I would also like to fit back into my old jeans by the hollidays…..
