Ha, my starting weight isn't much different than my last starting weight.
That will change this time! Anyway, I am starting at 161.2.
ETA: Oops forgot my goal and stuff :-) I am aiming to lose a pound a week. My ultimate goal is 135. My weight watchers goal is 136 so as soon as I get to 138 I can stop paying them again since I'm lifetime.
And other info about me: I'm 28 (not for long), work a sedentary job, live in AZ with my Fiance and dog, love the outdoors but not so much into exercising.
I'm really comitted this time. FINALLY over being sick (although on antibiotics for another week for an ear infection).
Starting weight isn't much differnt than January's starting weight.

ETA: A little about myself... hmm.... Since meeting my FI two years ago I have gained 15 lbs and feel a bit self-conscious. Always being proud of my body (even without those 6 packs) and now having to buy a dress I am determined to lose the weight and go back to feel happy, healthy and confident! Can't wait to be party of this! My total goal weight by the end of March is 145lb, so we will see how this goes :)
Starting weight 198.8. I have been killing it at the gym this week and have really been good about counting calories....im trying to eat around 1400-1500 a day. My goal is to lose 6 lbs a month...my ultimate goal is to weigh about 145 on my wedding day at the end of Oct.
I am 5'10 and my starting weight is 177. I really want to lose 17 lbs before my wedding in October, but would love to lose 7lbs in the next 4 weeks.
@finallytheone: Hey date twin!! You can totally lose 17lbs by Oct 20! I am hoping to drop about 50lbs by then!!
I'm at 185.4 which is up from the last competition but I'm telling myself it's muscle and not the two buttermilk biscuits I ate last night.
I'll join :) My starting weight is 155. I'd love to be 130 for the wedding- 5lbs a month is possible, right?
Anyone have any exercise plans that aren't too strenuous for beginners like me? (I'm also just plain weak, haha.)

I started at 213lbs about 1.5 years ago and these last few pounds are really stubborn : (
I've been eating 1000-1200 calories a day but all good food nothing that would make me feel like I'm dying of starvation.

eekkk ok so I usually lurk but I've been wanting to do this for a while. I am at 171.4 right now and I'm looking to loose around 7-10 lbs a month. final goal would be to get down around 130 to 125. I'm really excited about this.. I need motivation to do this and this is exactly what I've been needing. I'm a baker so the hardest part is to not bring treats home...>.<

Have 16lbs/21lbs to lose by august (dress shopping) wedding is march 2013.......

My current weight is 162.5. I'm 33 and TTC right now, so I don't want to try to lose too much during the TWW (two week wait) but I DO really want to lose during the first 2 weeks of my cycle. 145-150 is my happy weight, so I'd love to get back there unless I get pregnant first!
This week is a waiting week, so I'm going to aim to lose .5 - 1 lb. More importantly, I aim to a) buy a George Foreman grill b) buy a crockpot c) choose healthy receipes for the week d) go grocery shopping and buy lots of healthy goodies e) got to a class at my gym near home f) join my gym near work and g) drink at least 4 bottles of water per day (I'm terrible with this)! :)
I've been married for 3 months, but we've been living together for a couple of years. My eating habits have been horrible lately and I got out of the habit of going to the gym when I was in a car accident in July. However, I actually work at a weight management center and I need get my act together! :)
@Porkchop: Wow! Congratulations on your progress! Have you been doing much strength training? That is great for boosting your metabolism. Also changing up your exercise routine can help with those stubborn last pounds.
@galloway111: Are you getting any physical activity right now? What do you like to do? What do you have access to (gym, pool, etc?)
Current weight is 140. I have gained 20 in the last 2 years. I'd like to loose 10-20lbs or at least tone up and look like I did. I hope this group will help give me motivation to do more vs. just thinking about it.
As of this morning my current weight is 185.2. I've been overweight for as long as I can remember and once meeting my FI the scale jumped up faster. My wedding is in 99 days so it's crunch time for me. I'm 5'7 and started off at 192. My goal is 2lb a week for the next 4 weeks. I work in an office all day but I do work out approx. 6 days a week. 4 at the gym and 2 days I do a boot camp. As well as walking for a hour on my lunch break. Good luck ladies!!!
@78h2o: Well, I walk 15 minutes one way to class during the semester, but as of right now I'm doing nothing. Not that walking helped, I still gained 10lbs since I started and it is definitely not muscle. I'm broke so it needs to be something cheap... are there any beginners videos I could get from the library or something?
I'm 5'7 and currently at 213. Hoping to lose 10 ponds this month (I know that is a lot, but I'm just starting out and typically lose a lot the first week of a new program, so I'm optimistic). My goal is to be at 160 by mid June for dress shopping (I plan to buy off the rack) and at 145/150 by the wedding at the end of August.
This is the second wedding for both FI and me. We have 3 boys between the two of us and have been living together as a blended family for 2 years. Planning an intimate (immediate family and best friends) wedding in the Florida panhandle with an at home reception in September.
Excited to be joining with you guys to motivate one mother!
@78h2o: Thanks! I do alot of strength training and cardio : ) But it just seems like these last few pounds don't wanna break up with me! LOL I just started HIIT Cardion Boot Camp a week ago, so I'll see how this goes! Good Luck!

Ugh.
5'8", Size 18/20, large frame, 36 years old, mom of 3 kids. Biggest I've been is 250 (right before giving birth 3 yrs. ago), and I can't believe most of it has still stuck around. Well actually I know why, because I am soooo painfully inactive. Plus all the Cokes. So my goal is to get off of that couch, put that book & soda & munchies down, and start moving, walking, baby steps. Smallest I've been as an adult was about 10 years ago, 180 lbs. I was in a size 12 jeans and looked FANTASTIC!!!!! But I'd love to be around 165. Let us pray. Amen.

I've realize that my wedding is in just over 100 days, so it's time to get down to business! (late is better than never, I suppose!)
I weigh 147 and 5'3". My end goal weight is around 120, but would be thrilled with 130-135 by the wedding. Mainly I lack motivation, so I'm hoping that joining this will help me keep up with working out. I just started doing the supreme 90 (can't pass it up when it was only $10!). It seems to be similar to the p90x type workout, but a bit shorter. Other than that I've started running a bit and trying to eat better by tracking my food with the sparkpeople app.
Ok I am in again! I think I'm like 1 lb down from last months starting weigt lol. I am at 198 and hope to be 175 by the wedding :) I also want to be at 190 when I go on SYTTD in a week and a half! I have been doing crossfit for about 2 weeks now and I am so much stronger and toned already. I think that is why I haven't been losing as fast as usual. I definitely feel more muscular and toned though so thats what counts :)
I'm 5'9, today's weight 165 lbs, lost 17 lbs since September. Goal is 145lbs, but I'll take 150 by summer. I didn't gain any weight during the holidays which is good, but I also didn't lose any :( I'm working out 4-5x/week with Jillian DVDs and extra cardio. I'm looking to kick it up a bit and this challenge is perfect to stir up motivation. Good luck everyone!
Oh can I play?! I'm 5'7, todays weight is 145 have lost 35 pounds since last May, but having a hard time moving any further down! Maybe this will motivate me. Goal weight for wedding is 130. :)

My starting weight is 143 and I'm about 5'7. I'd like to get to about 130 by the wedding in May. About two years ago I really started getting into eating well and exercising and at that point I weighed about 185. While I still eat pretty healthy I've fallen off the wagon with the exercising.

My current weight is 274....highest weight was 301 but Ive been working on my meal plans, watching portions and using myfitnesspal. My goal for the next few weeks is to drop at least 2lbs a week..since I weigh a lot it comes off fast for now. I'm a size 18 in most clothes...I dont think I *look* like I weigh this much so I always tell my friends its my butt haha Now that I'm engaged I have a lot of motivation to lose more weight...I dont want to start dress shopping until I lose some weight but with a 2013 wedding,I've got some time :)

My current weight is 213, I'd like to get down to the 160's and then see what I look like at that point. For the 4 weeks I would like to lose 8 pounds.
When I first met my boyfriend I had just lost 30 pounds and I was at 170 and I felt like I looked great. I've been trying to lose weight for a while but I lack motivation. It's very funny because my boyfriend is a fitness nut.
So I plan to take this seriously and get this weight off, simply because I'm tired of not feeling good about myself.

Oops Forgot to look for this. Ok so Friday I was at 171.0 and This morning (Sunday) I'm at 171.8 Yesterday was my cheat night)
I really dropped the ball over the holidays and am looking to get back on track. I moved my first dress fitting and alterations to 2/4/12 so I am hoping to lose 10 more pounds by then but realisticly just as much as I can.

Oh yay! I'm definitely in! I'm currently at 195.8, about 5'7" so I still have a bit to lose. I've always been pretty active, but only recently have FI and I been pretty good about watching what we eat. My overall goal would be to lose about 30ish by May, which is about 1-2 lbs. per week. FI and I are going to start training for a half marathon soon, so hopefully that'll help as well!
awesome! Count me in! I have a sedentary job, a 3 year old son and of course the fiancee. Started working out with a trainer for 3 months and I lost 25 lbs, but my sessions were up just before Thanksgiving and I couldn't afford to renew them. So now I'm starting back up again, weighing 173 and 5'9". I'm really hoping in the next 4 weeks to lose 5 lbs and break into the 160s! I've never seen them before, but I'm determined to get there before my wedding dress arrives at the end of March! So excited to have a team to work with, this is going to be such good motivation!

I am 27, work a boring office job, like all different types of exercises.. I am usually quite active but I was lazy during the end of 2011.. I am running more on the treadmill, joined boot camp, and doing the 30 day Shred and some free weights. I'm looking to go hiking more this Spring/Summer. I have been eating smaller portions since January 1 and logging my calories on Lose It.com

Oh I wasn't around over the weekend but I'm joining in again too :) My starting weight is 1 pound down from last month's...Christmas was killer lol. 147.2.
My highest weight ever was 186, I was down to 135 for my wedding and since then due to various reasons it's crept up. I'd like to be 138 again and maintain there. I run everyday, usually at least 2 miles. I just discovered a love for spin last week and am planning on incorporating 3 classes a week along with nightly walks (usually around 2 miles) with DH. I'm also on day 3 of cutting myself off from sweets since that's my biggest weakness and going strong so far!

I dropped down to 138 for my wedding in October. Thanks to two weeks in India, 1 week in Mississippi all for work and the holidays I have crept up a few pounds. Time to change that! I am doing the couch to 5k program now (week 4 starts Thursday) and planning to add in some Jillian DVDs. I'd love to weigh 135lbs by my trip to Florida in April!

DH and I did join a gym after using their groupon up and I've gone 4 times since the beginning of the year. Also using myfitnesspal to track my eating and staying fairly close to the goal so far.
I've wanted to lose weight since I was about 14 and senior year of high school I looked pretty good, but going to college and getting a desk job - while eating the same way you did when you lived on a farm and worked all day? Not good! I never thought I'd say it, but I want back those killer arms that I had in high school.( I thought they were unattractive because they were SO buff.
I remember watching Oprah talk about 'bat wings' one time and I'm like what is that? My arms were that fit. Now I know exactly what she was talking about, lol!
I'm sorry, I'm new to Bee and not quite up to date in general--but where should I find the weekly thread to update? I hate not knowing how to do things!!!! :(
