Yea!! I hope I can lose at least a lb this week after losing so much last week!! Didn’t have a great start with the alcohol and bean and cheese nachos last night, but we shall see!!

I didn’t weigh in this week either–bad week, bad mood, found out me flushing my tampons in our 1930 built house caused a backup that cost $415 to fix, and I just ate my feelings, honestly. Now about the tampons–the plumber said it’s perfectly fine in newer houses to flush them but any house before the 90s shouldn’t be flushed in. I’m a bit wiser now, I guess. Although a lot of my friends acted like I was the ONLY person in existance to flush and it kind of has gotten under my skin. So whatever haha.
HOWEVER Congrats to all the ladies runnin the world! Y’all are doing great and I’m back in it for next week. Sometimes you just get those doldrums and you gotta work them out!

so as a note to all you fitness ladies…….if you are sick with a cold, and google tells you it’s ok to work out……it’s a lie!
I was working out yesterday (normally Sunday is my hardest day) and I went lighter than usual cause I was still getting better, took a walk around the track to cool down, went over to chat with DH (who was on a weight machine) and realized I needed to sit down. So he let me sit there, and things start getting really fuzzy and HOT. I kept thinking ok, ok, just cool down, take deep breaths and you won’t faint!
Nope, I went to lean my head down between my knees and DH said I was out, lol. Only for like 3 seconds (I didn’t even realize it) but he said I dropped my water bottle and completely slumped over. Apparently I gave him quite a scare! I still felt like I was going to lose it and told him I needed to lie down…right there next to the weight machine in a gym full of people. Awesome.
So I get on the floor and next thing I know, I can hear a cleaning lady asking DH about calling 911 and I’m all NO! no, just give me a minute! It sounded like they were talking very, very far away from me, lol! Luckily, by about the third time she mentioned calling, I could hear the music and their voices getting louder and managed to convince her I was ok, which I was, I just needed a couple minutes on the floor!
Definitely an odd experience, and I’m still not sure why it happened, I can only think I must have been a bit dehydrated and just really hot from my workout – normally I run a few laps then do the elliptical with a short break on a weight machine in between. Well, I didn’t do the weight machine, so I think I hadn’t cooled down enough.
Just a little excitement for my Sunday workout and made me feel like way more of a badass workout person than I actually am, lol!

I did a ton of emotional eating this weekend too, and the best part is that (for the first time in awhile) I didn’t feel guilty about it, I just let myself have a pity party and even though it will probably take me a week to work it off and get back on track, I’m okay with the slip up. It happens! We were pretty active, I still walked 10,000+ steps both days, so that makes me feel good too.
@hisgoosiegirl: I’ve had similar moments like this too. One time it was after a pretty intense bike ride and DH had gone off to pick up the car and I was left with stepson and everything was fuzzy and my vision was going from bright to really dark, it was scary! I kept my helmet on just in case I just dropped, lol!

So I am in a great mood this Monday because despite my usual weekend cheating (its my treat to myself) I only went up .5lbs this weekend, whereas usually I am up a lb or two…so this is my week…I will break through 140 I just know it!!! 🙂

@Mrs.Mittens: lol! good thing you were wearing the helmet! It was just weird cause I felt fine walking my couple laps, it wasn’t until I stopped to talk to DH that I started feeling bad.
@jboltz19: awesome! maybe we can both break it this week…….after my little gym incident, I weighed myself at home and I was just under 140….which was a TWO LB drop from Friday night, lol that was my hint that maybe I was a little low on fluids. But I’m hoping this Friday I will be close to seeing a ‘3’ in the 2nd digit spot!

Oh ladies – I did awful this weekend but I enjoyed every moment of it 🙂 I didn’t count any calories and I drank at my bachelorette party which I haven’t done in 2 1/2 months! I’m sure I’ll pay for it this week and I feel guilty (and hungry) today but it won’t happen again until the wedding/honeymoon.
I’ve only been loosing about 1lb a week now – so I’m thinking I won’t make my goal by the wedding – which is kind of sad – but not the end of the world since I wasn’t doing this for the wedding. Anyone else not meet their goal by their deadline?

@Lindsey2005: I had a goal of 175 on my wedding day and I was 182. I was fine with it because I hadn’t been that weight in quite awhile, but I’ve been yo-yo ing in the 180’s ever since.

Hi ladies! Congrats to everyone who made this list this week!
I did ok this weekend. I had a horrible headache Saturday so that kinda screwed up my day. But I went shopping Sunday (GC’s from Christmas and Birthday). So, I got some new shorts, new motivation let me tell you. They fit, but they’ll look better if I lost some tummy weight and toned up my legs a bit. So, I am going to push harder in my work outs this week. Summer is right around the corner. It’s already shorts season here!
