Last weeks weight: 224.8, this week’s weight: 222.8 pounds. I was really consistent about my workouts and did them everyday. I’m a little groggy tonight I don’t know why but I am pretty sure I am PMS-ing so I took it easy. I had a food migraine last night, I ate my lunch as usual but ended up staying really late at work and it takes about an hour without traffic to come home and there was traffic, so it took longer. I did lose a total of about 5.9 inches on my body which was great, but I want to focus more on my bust and mid section this time seeing that most of my loss came from my legs. 🙂 Keep it up bees! It felt really good to weigh in and see I lost 2 lbs and had inches melt away!

Last week I was 172.8 and today I was a wopping 172.4. I weighed myself on Tuesday and I was 172 🙁 So I think I’m just fluctuating a lot lately. I need to get past this plateu but not sure how.
I went to boot camp Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I skipped Tuesday and after my doctors appointment today I am going to head to the gym for some one on one cardio time. My hope is to hit the gym Saturday and Sunday too. Lately I’ve gotten lazy and been skipping Sunday – I need to get out of that rut and since Monday is a holiday maybe I can move past it this weekend.
Also, still need to up my protein. I have my grocery list all made to stop by the store after the doctor’s this morning. I also ordered protein bars and protein water mix from Special K.
To end on a happy note – on Tuesday when I saw the even 172 I was pretty happy – that’s an even 20 pound loss for me from where I started on December 26th, 2011. I’ve noticed my endurance at boot camp the past few weeks is just amazing compared to before. I’m doing better with my push-ups, burpies, suicidies, and long distance running. It’s a great feeling. I’m frustrated but not giving up yet!

Finally, my work is paying off! This is how my body is though…it likes to take its time. I probably won’t see another good loss for at least a month, but as long as I don’t gain during that time, I’ll be ok.
Goals for next week are to keep eating heathier and exercising.

Starting weight was 172.5…….. I was doing great until last night 🙁
I had lost weight but this morning I was up to 173.2. Today is a new day!!

Today: 166.2 (which means I met my 1.5 lb goal EXACTLY WHOO HOO!)
I started combining weight and cardio workouts at the gym. 3-5 min warm up, 20 mins weightlifting, 20 mins cardio, 3-5 min cool down (ok 2-3 min cool down) with good stretching afterwards. Honest to baby Jesus, I have never seen my weight drop so quickly–because I was still at 167.7 on Tuesday. Tuesday night I only did cardio, Wednesday & Thursday I started my weight/cardio routine. It’s honestly easier on me, I get the recommended weekly dose of cardio AND weightlifting (because according to Women’s Health we should get 3x weekly of weightlifting) without being bored.
Next week: vacation to DC. Luckily we’re staying with Matt’s grandparents and eating most of our meals there, but let’s hope on the two meals we plan on eating out that I can make solid choices! Good work everyone, keep it up!

I am grouchy today. I weighed in yesterday at 160.0, had a perfectly on-plan day of eating – no junk – and am 160.6 today. Yeah yeah, only weigh myself once a week, blah blah blah.
I was just really hoping that today would be the day I saw the 150s again!
Starting (Jan 28): 167.2
Start of this challenge: 162.2
Right now: 160.6
Goal for the week: ramp up the activity.

@andilene: If you ned a quick bite to eat in DC you should check out Chopt! It’s a great salad place – kind of like chipotle but for salads! Huge portions though – so share or take home for dinner!

Today’s weight: 152.0
AH! I’m over the moon! I didn’t do much differently this week– still sticking to low carb/high fat and protein and it’s working wonderfully. I do watch my calories, and I adopted the saying that someone posted earlier: Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a commoner, dinner like a pauper. It’s been working for me!
Goals for this week: up the intensity of my workouts, keep up the diet
I’m going out of town on Wednesday, so it’ll be a challenge to continue eating well, but I’m up for the challenge. I hope I can report a weightloss next Friday too!

@Lindsey2005: Oh nice! Thanks 🙂 I have no idea where we are going to eat dinner. For lunch I have to look the place up, it was on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and Matt wants to go (I am afraid everything is covered in some kind of gravy though haha). When I went on vacation to my parents’ last Thanksgiving I gained 5 lbs in one week 🙁 They don’t eat the way we do so it was a shock to my system but I was disappointed to let all my hard work go down the drain. Nothing compares to southern cooking though! (At least if you’re from the South!)

@andilene: I’d suggest looking into Founding Farmers for more of a health route. BUT if you wish to splurge since you’re on vacation and want to drink your days worth of calories check our RFD (Regional Food & Drink) – More beers then you can imagine and delicious food! My FH loves this place.

Morning Ladies! I’m super impressed by everyone’s hard work this week!
I weighed in at 184.8 on Monday and today I’m 186. In all honesty, I knew that this would happen, so I’m not all that surprised and I’m actually feeling pretty good! Sleeping better, no headaches, etc. yay!
Goals for next week: For sure I’m working out both days this weekend. I do have to work on Monday so I think I might take that night off from working out, but the rest of the week I’m in the gym. More fruit into my diet (I will work on veggies in a couple weeks) and continue to watch portions!
Saturday we spend all day at the RC racetrack with our stepson so we will be eating out that day but it’s my only eat out meal of the weekend. We usually eat at Wendy’s which I feel is better than most restaurants when it comes to heath(ier) options.

Haven’t really gotten back on track. Hoping I can this week.
I really want to dip into the 150s by March and *gasp* 140s by April/May. It could happen… 😀

@luvmyDwight: It CAN happen! You can do it. It’s hard to get back on track once you fall off but I know you can make it happen.
@Lindsey2005: I will check out Regional–we always like to have at least ONE just outrageously unhealthy meal while we are out and about, plus while Matt was born in DC and has been there a billion times because of family, it’s my first trip! I always like to find something good 🙂
@Mrs.Mittens: I had a Wendy’s plain baked potato for lunch yesterday! Love them. I like the range of options they have and it does allow for a healthier meal if you want one!
