Great job everyone!
I forgot to weigh in but I weighed in at 194 yesterday! Which is down 2lbs. Feeling great and motivated! Trying to focus on keeping my calories under 1500 and eating more veggies. Today is cake day in our office, so I’m going to try and avoid the break room!

I just realized that I’m not going to be able to weigh-in on time next week. I’ll be out of town Monday, so I won’t be able to post my weight until Tuesday morning. Boo. 🙁

@Boston Bee: Well seeing the percentages is still awesome and you can still win the next round or the whole thing! I have missed weigh ins before (when Mrs Mittens was running it) but in the end the result is the same. 🙂
@MissXray: Not silly at all, I’ve been in the top lately too and it keeps me motivated. I’m so close to the 150’s and its been years. It’s been great to have this forum.
I have a question for you bees, what food plan or tracking are you using to keep the weight off?
I currently am not tracking but need to get back to that. I use a paper one and fat secret. I tried my fitnesspal but it doesn’t stick with me for some reason. I have a nutrition plan that I have used since college everytime I try to lose weight and its been awesome (when I stick to it lol.) Lately due to finances I have been making more stuff at home, and drinking more water. It’s been great because I get to control what ingredients are in my food. Making coffee at home is good too it insures that I don’t get all those extra calories like iced coffees from McDonalds and Starbucks.
My new job keeps me on my feet so I’m wondering if that is contributing to the weight loss. What do you bees do for exercise?
On that note I made a mistake and ate another bagel today and its not sitting well. I think I need to stick to the at home food and plan it better. My goal is week is to make sure I make coffee at home and try to make bread, well see how that goes, I know its that much tricker a mile high. Lol.

@Mrs Christopher: I recently joined Weight Watchers Online, and am LOVING it i am down 9.8lbs since the beginging of january with that and my work out routine. My big thing has been Water, Water, Water. I have a cup of hot tea in the morning a glass of milk with breakfast or juice and then nothing but water all day long. seems to be helping a TON with the bloat and the extra pounds around my waist and face (even my FI noticed!) plus i Love WW Points system, so much easier than trying to figure out calories & carbs & fats & sugars and keep it all balanced. I have my points i follow them to the letter and I am loosing weight!!!!

I use MFP to track my calories. As far as a food plan, I would say I’m 80% paleo. I don’t want to be 100% paleo because I don’t like to feel guilty when I go out to eat or eat something non-paleo. Moderation is key to long-term success for me. I eat grains maybe one meal a week (usually Friday date night), am not a big fan of dairy so I don’t eat it anyways, verrrrry little refined or added sugar, and I’ve been trying to limit my alcohol consumption to just a glass of wine a week (again, Friday date night). I’ve been doing it consistently for 3 weeks now, and I feel great.
For exercise, I do the Bar Method 4-5 times a week. It’s a killer workout, and I’m already seeing results in my thighs. I also run about 2 miles twice a week and walk 2 miles on a steep incline once a week. I have a bad knee, so I have to keep my mileage low and my exercises low impact. It’s been tricky finding something that works, but my knee hasn’t bothered me at all in 3 weeks, so I think this routine is good.

I use myfitnesspal. I also am on Isagenix so two out of my 4-5 meals are protien shakes/protien bars. I try to stick to 1200 calories a day and eat back my exercise calories when I am hungry. I know that is on the low end of calories but I more than make up for it on the days when I go off the rails (yesterday I had Green Mill, chips, and Twix…all bad). I have toast for breakfast but otherwise try to rely mostly on fruit, greek yogurt, and pre-prepared food (leftovers) like Chicken Chili or Mexican Casserole, or salads. I try not to eat after 5pm but that isn’t always possible. I only drink black coffee in the morning, green tea mid-day, and water all day long. My workouts lately have been 30 minutes on the eliptical machine 4 times a week or 30 Day Shred when I am ambitious.
