Want to join in? It’s easy! Just reply to this post with your starting weight and a little info about you… what your goals are for the next four weeks, the areas you feel you need to work on, etc. Or you can send me a PM if you’d like to keep your weight private.
Drop by a few times a week to let everyone know how you are doing and to provide support to the other Bees participating. The more activity on the thread the better, and I’m always around if you need anything!
Weigh-ins: The weigh in thread will be posted to the fitness board on Thursday evenings (this is mostly to accomodate any east coast bees, since I’m on the west coast) and you will have until 3:30pm on Friday to get me your current weight.

I could definitly use some extra support on my weight loss journey! I am a regular poster, but I have created a different account for the beegest loser.
I have always struggled with my weight, but right now I am at my heaviest. I am unhappy and uncomfortable with my body. I would like to lose 50 pounds. I am trying to eat better by not eating as many carbs or processed foods and incorperating excercise back into my life.
My starting weight is 191.
Looking forward to talking with other bees and getting healthy 🙂

Starting weight 165.8.
I am so excited for this round. Tonight I am going back to the gym since I am finally over my respiratory problems and I have stuck to keeping my paper food journal all week!
My scale is blinking though so I need to get a new battery for it but I am sooo happy that I’ve come this far. I don’t have a particular weight goal for this round. Optimistically I’d like to lose 3 or 4 pounds in reality I would just be happy to maintan or not backslide.
My goal is to go to the gym at least twice a week and to keep writing in my food journal. If I do keep losing the weight though then I should totally fit in my mom’s wedding dress by November. 🙂

Starting weight: 164
Goal this round: Lose 5 pounds. Kick up my work out routine. Push myself. Eat healthier. Ignore the bad food cravings, because they will eventually go away!
I’ve been doing really well with drinking water, so keep this up.
Just over 3 months ladies! I can do this! I will have energy and look great on my wedding day!

Hi! I’m joining in, after getting loads of support in a thread I started about my weight. I don’t know how long it will last, but I’m going to try and keep up with you girls. 🙂
I weigh 185lbs, and I want to lose around 50, eventually. But my goal is to lose 3lbs this week, and a total of 6 lbs in 4 weeks.
I plan to do this by eating healthier, no carbs in the evening, big healthy breakfast, and I’m limiting junk food to once a week. I plan to start doing Zumba every day.

I am totally pysched about this since I definitely indulged this summer and gained a little weight (but it was a pretty awesome summer!).
Starting weight: 146.6
I would like to lose 15-20 lbs total, but I’m gonna go for 6 lbs during these 4 weeks! I plan to keep a food journal and exercise at least 5 times/week.

@Adams_bee: Yey so glad you joined. Dont beat yourself up if you don’t meet each and everyone of your goals. I know I couldn’t work out everyday! I’ve tried but always failed. 🙁

I don’t care if I can’t “compete” since I don’t have a starting weight, but I’d like to play for the accountability!

I’d like to join. Since classes started three weeks ago, I’ve been on one big stress binge and gained 8lbs! FI and I are looking into a gym this week for someting healthy to do together and to release stress (and the membership is paid for by his office)!
I’m 5’2 and starting at 109.6. Those 8lbs have made a huge difference in how my clothing fits, and I can HARDLY button pants I wore a few weeks ago. So, my goal is to lose the added weight and to get more cardiovascular exercise to improve my health. I plan on using MFP to log my food and I need to avoid stress eating!

Oh man, this is going to be embarassing to say but I am currently…. 243 lbs.
I usually weighed between 140-160 depending. I am taller, and don’t have a super dainty frame so I have always look pretty good at that weight… and over the last 4 years have put on almost 100 lbs. It is almost insane. I am fed up, can’t look at myself in the mirror anymore and am desperate to get healthy. SO I am going incognito on my anonymous account to try and get support and motivation from you ladies.

This is the first time I’ve seen this thread, so I figured I’d join in 🙂
I’m currently 184.
Three years ago, I weighed around 280. Within a year and a half, I lost about a hundred pounds. This is the first time in my life th I’ve been able to keep the weight off. My initial goal was to reach 200. I’ve settled at between 180-185 and can’t quite get over the plateau. My new goal is to just fit better into a size 12, or maybe another ten or 15 pounds (though, the idea of seeing the 170’s would make me happy).
In four weeks, I hope to lose around 8 lbs. I’m back in school, which means my food intake will go down, and my exercise will go up (I walk to and from school). I need to get back into consistently doing my 30 Day Shred dvd as well. I feel like my biggest probelm at the moment is the fact that I’ve got loose skin everywhere, and my muscle tone is not great.

Oh man I went to Barre tonight and it kicked my ass. I felt like upchucking afterward. People even asked if I was okay. I was the biggest girl in the class but I didn’t let that bother me. As intense as it was I just focused and thought of the body I could have in a few months if I kept this up. 🙂
No more eating that close to class time though.

Currently 173lb (starting weight was 184lb 4 weeks ago, size US10).
I’ve been losing about 3lb a week for the past two weeks, so my goal is to keep that up. I’d like my total loss to be about 30lb from starting weight, and then maintain it. Only thing is I’m pretty big built and very muscular, so I aim to drop from a US8 to a US6, whatever weight that makes me.
I’ve been following a low-carb diet, high in veg and protein, and doing 10-30mins of cardio followed by 20mins of upper body strength exercise every day.

Right now I am 196lbs. I have put on so much weight in the last 3 years, from having a baby and never losing the baby weight, to living with FI and eating take-out on the weekends and just generally eating very badly.
My overall goal is to lose 50-60lbs. I know it’s gonna be hard, but when I look at my wedding photos of me I want to feel proud of what I have acheived. That is what keeps me going.
I plan to eat healthily, go on my cross-trainer for 30 minutes every day and do a good amount of walking and swimming where I can to tone up. I am nervous about this journey, but most of all, I am excited because I KNOW I can do this!
We can ALL do this ladies!
